THE OFFICIAL HOME PAGE OF THE GHANAIAN ASSOCIATION OF SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA.

The Ghanaian Association of San Diego was formed in 1997 as a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization to unite, assist and protect the welfare of Ghanaians and friends of Ghana resident in the San Diego County.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to unify our members and to provide an excellent forum for exchange of ideas and social interactions.  The association is also committed to acting a primary advocate for the promotion of Ghanaian arts and cultural life in San Diego, through cultural and economic programs.

Our long term goal is to help develop and promote a friendly and productive relationship between San Diego and Ghana and to assist new immigrants from Ghana and elsewhere to better acclimatize to the socio-economic conditions of the United States.  The latter will be achieved through the provision of support groups and social networks.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to people of all race and nationalities.  Our current members include Ghanaians and non-Ghanaians who subscribe to the objectives of the Association.

FUNDS
The Association currently derives funds from membership fees and dues.  There is a one-time registration fee of $20 and a annual dues of $30 per every adult member.  The Association also intends to organize various fund-raising events to support its programs.
