The Accomidations

We worked with a great team of people who hooked us up with the best they could find. They made it much easier to deal with the more rustic parts of out trip.
Top Left: This is Pastor Sammy. He is the head of Global Servants in Ghana, and our leader on this trip. Such a joyful and godly man!

Bottom Left: Comfort is Sammy's wife, and took great care of us the nights we stayed in their home. EXCELLENT bananna bread.

Right: Francis was our hired Driver for the week. We loved him. He laughed at everything, and navigated the crazy driving conditions womderfully. He and Sammy seemed to know someone everywhere that we went.
The first night we were spoiled with a hotel on the coast. It was crazy getting there - you never would have imagined a gem like this hiding behind hours of rural turns. To the right you can see my room in Sammy's house. No AC, but we did alright :)
Using the bathroom was usually an adventure, and sometimes required guards ...
This is the house of Bob and Gene, who were missionary who ran a hospital in Saboba We worked with the northern villages there for three days. They fed us a few times. Bob is the guy with the huge white handlebar mustache. Gene is the only realy doctor around for hours, and is stretched incredibly thin in her work. It was good to be able to encourage them in their work.

To the far left is Pastor Godwin, a global servants pastor who translated for us while we were there. He did an excellent job.
