Effects Of Obnoxious Farming Practices On The Environment.

Introduction

Farming is a necessary economic activity for the development and sustenance of every Nation. Farming contribute in this direction by providing food, raw materials for industrial growth and development, providing employment for the citizens, earning foreign exchange from export, and income for the farmer among others. What becomes an issue is the kind of technology used in the cultivation of the land. Different farming systems, land clearing types, tillage practices, methods of controlling weeds, and pest and disease control (use of chemical, simple tools, and heavy implements, etc) are all sources of degradation to the environment. Again, in animal production there, are frequent cases of overgrazing which result in environmental degradation. Students are therefore to come out with the acceptable practices and use the search engines to come out with reports of the acceptable practices.
