Rocky is a 14.2hh, Welsh Cob X, bay gelding he is 23 years old. He was doing Senior Foxhunter BSJA when I had him, Looking back was crazy to have him as he was much too good for my level of riding at that time.
Over the years we have done most things from X Country to Endurance and had our ups and downs. We have won prizes all over Cornwall and West Devon - Show Jumping, Gymkhana, X Country, Working Hunter Pony and Showing. Having both lost our nerves now with jumping we tend to just enjoy hacking and showing these days.
Rocky can be a nutter at times but also has another fantastic side with young or nervous riders. He becomes a completely different horse depending on the rider; which many judges over the years have commented on and with well over 100 wins in Family Pony it must show something!!
Rocky of course has a home for life and will never leave our family.
