| I could finally convince people Allen Spencer was crooked but as I dug deeper I found out he even stole money from third-world countries. I immediately called the police and presented the evidence to them. They had enough to convict Spencer and they did. He�s behind bars now and he will be for a long time. Sure convicting an evil Mayor is all fine and dandy, but what makes me wonder is if I never got fired and gone home early then turn on the t.v. would I ever have done research on Spencer? I still can�t get over the fact I actually did something useful with my life, but it�s all the same to me since I got to convict the guy I hate and stop a war form escalading, so I really don�t care. EPILOGUE: It�s been five years since the whole Allen Spencer thing. I never knew so many good things could happen in five years, like getting re-engaged to the girl of your dreams (Becca, that is) and having two beautiful kids. I also got a new job as Chief Editor for a new paper. And a new Mayor was elected and so far he seems fine (saying this with the traditional money grubbing, publicity starved politics in mind, of course) and he hasn�t done anything evil or anything...yet. |
