Racism in Football
Racism in football is a serious issue which affects many players of from other ethnic backgrounds. Many players have suffered the verbal abuse from supposed football fans, before during and after the games in which they are playing in.

It is because of this, that many famous faces are uniting together, to put a stop to this bullying. Players such as Rio Ferdinand, Sol Campbell and Chris Powell have become solid members of the 'Kick It Out' campaign- a campaign which hopes to put an end to racism today.

Football managers have also shown their support in the campaign- Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, and Sven Goran Eriksson have stated that the colour of the player's skin does not affect their skill.

So what can you do?
You can show you are supporting the campaign, by wearing the wristbands and t-shirts with the anti-racism message.

Visit the 'Kick It Out' website, or Nike's 'Stand Up Speak Up' site, for further information on the campaign.
