During the autumns of 2004 and 2006 three of my photos were chosen for display at the prestigious Frederic Remington Art Museum in Ogdensburg, NY, as part of an Amateurs Only Juried Art Show that was on exhibition there. I was also privileged to have one of my photos chosen in another Juried Art Exhibition at the well-known Gibson Art Gallery in Potsdam, NY during the summer of 2008. My "Sun Worshiper" sunflower shot was also published in "The Best of Photography Annual 2005" sponsored by "Photographer's Forum" magazine.
Anyway, I was born in Pennsylvania in 1953, graduated from Mansfield University of PA with an MS degree in Communications: speech, theatre, and English. I moved to Upstate NY in the mid '80's and have been living here ever since. I received my Master's Degree in English Education at SUNY Potsdam. I am also NYS certified in Special Education.
Besides my photography, I also enjoy scuba diving, computers, singing and playing trumpet in "Confusion," a local "big band" I am privileged to be a part of. I sing in and direct a small chorus chapter of Sweet Adelines, and I also sing lead in a quartet called North Country Express.
