PLY is a rough implementation of a bash-equivalent form of lex & yacc UNIX utilities that are commonly used for compiler construction. But PLY does not generate C code and is written and designed to work under UNIX shell environment. PLY can be used to implement your own syntax and commands and to generate run file from them, that are runnable in shell. This tool should aid system administrators and advanced end-users to automate repetitive house-keeping tasks(or even to generate new programs quickly). Download PLY v0.11 here
