What can I say? The snow was AMAZING...the opening act, Howie Day, came out and did a few songs, he is REALLY good, and kinda cute too..he did a few impressions like what it would sound like if david grey covered macy grey...and then he sang celien dion "my heart will go on" from titanic..it was soooo funny..i bought his c.d. and got it autographed...and then they had a break, got the stage set up, and then "BAMB", the goo goo dolls were onstage doing their thing..it was incredible...they sang and ran across the stage like 500 times each song and it was amazing...then this lady had this glowing winnie the pooh light spining things and john thought these were cool so she handed him one and he thought it looked like some sort of sex toy or something and started talking about how he was gunna make his fortune "not in a fucking band" but by inventing crotchless panties with landing lights, and that how everyone at a certain age has gone into a sex shop and how he always goes in with out shame and how all his girl friends always call him up telling him to go buy them these things that they saw on the interent..it was hystaricle...then he had one of those nicorete or whatever quit smoking patches on and he was wining about how he was getting shaky and stuff because he is TRYING to quit smoking and how if we hear that he killed someone in the next week or so that we all know why..then he said he just wanted to lick the patch thing or roll it up and smoke it and he was saying how one of his friends was telling him why he should quit smoking and he was joking about that...but then like 30-45 minutes later he comes onstage with a cigerette in mouth and says that he tried...then we played a game called "i wont fuck with you if you dont fuck with me" where when he plays the guitar everyone claps...robby was trying to keep everyone going at the same time but one time john didnt do the guitar thing and everyone clappend and...ya..it was great...we did it again and didnt mess up...meaning that now he "cant fuck with us", not sure if thats a good thing or not..but whatever...then the show ended..it was sad...i didnt freak out or anything...just went home..they didnt do an autograph signing which kinda sucked but they couldnt because there wasnt a back door for them to leave out of so they didnt have room to do it or whatever..but i couldnt have stayed anyway because my ride showed up and that was it...oh well..now off to portland... :)
