In fact, I
was quite impatient for this day, as I wanted to share with you an important
secret that we came across very recently. Imagine, having a magic wand for

take Decisions
Have you ever
wondered why pilots or expert surgeons are paid very high, whereas an office
clerks are paid relatively less? It is because of the decisions and risks taking
ability that they possess when they are faced with crisis.
Decision:
Such a vital and governing part of our life that most of the people do not take
it seriously in life. Decision is your action for the different choices you
have in life. People who are successful or rich are the ones who have reached
those positions based on the choices that they took over the time at various
points.
You
normally take decision at two instances – one is in your day to day life and
the other in your professional life that depends on your confidence and the
expertise you have in your field.
Anthony
Robbins in his book “Awaken the Giant within” says
“ More
than anything else, I believe it’s our decisions, not the conditions of our
lives that determines our destiny”
In other
words, you are where you are NOW, based on the decisions you took on the
various choices you had in your life. Never mind or regret about where you are
now. You now have a choice to take decisions in the present moment. Don’t worry
about the lost opportunities or wait for future miracles. Focus on the present.

So take
decision anyway. Don’t get into Paralysis of Analysis. Get enough information
to decide fast. Once you take the decision and act, you will always find time
to correct it over the time, if there are any mistakes.
Here is the
challenge for you. Take a decision right now, which you had been
procrastinating for a while and which you feel, if done will make a significant
improvement in your personal or professional life in the next 3 months.

history is a waste of time
Yes! it is
good to read motivation stories of great personalities like Dr.Abdul Kalam,
Bill Gates, Mother Teresa, Albert Einstein, etc. But there can be only one
Dr.Abdul Kalam, or one Bill Gates. As you are aware, there are thousands of people
around you who have made some significant achievements in their field, which you
too can achieve.
The impact
of a motivation story is like a freshly opened coke bottle, the gas will diffuse
fast enough to loose its impact. But successful people around you are a
continuous source of motivation.
Do you know
that success can be duplicated? The secret is to identify in your life a real
hero or person whom you admire the most. If you are convinced from the way he
or she has achieved success, you only have to copy their habits. Please
remember, you can observe a lot by watching. So next time you are around your
favorite successful person, observe more and try to emulate in your life. Do
not hesitate to approach them and ask them their secret of success? Most of the
time, people shy away that they haven’t achieved something great. But if you
are serious and persistent to know, they would certainly like to share their
secrets.
There are
different aspects in life, where you may want to succeed. It may be to reduce
weight, getting into a reputed institution, starting your own business, etc.
Identify your role models around you who have succeeded in those areas.
Remember, you can have multiple role models to achieve your different goals.
Please do
not conclude that you will loose your originality if you start duplicating
others success. History is filled with great personalities who too had their
own role models from whom they had derived motivation. Nevertheless, your own
driving force is a must to achieve your goals. But, it is better to follow the
steps of the person who has already used the path. Life is short to reinvent
the wheel. In this dynamic and fast paced world, you have to be faster and
agile to stay ahead of your competition.
