owned the bike $85 and it felt great to have painted something like this AND get paid for it.
       
A few weeks later I took these photos to a custom shop to see what it was worth.  They told me that to duplicate the mural  would cost me about $800.
      Guess I should have checked that first, huh?

  This little beauty was for sale at a local "Hot Rod" dealership. While someone was taking it for a test drive, its drivers side door came open at about 65mph. Normaly, this wouldn't have
been such a big deal. However, since the car has suicide doors, it became a big deal in a hurry. It completely ripped the door from the car.
   At the time, I was working in the small body shop (two people, and I was one of them) that did the body repair work for this dealer. There was only minimal damage to the panel behind the door and to the rear fender. Once the door had been rebuilt, it was re-attached to the car. Then, all I had to do was duplicate the graphics that were on the other side of the car.
