| In June 2000, the Lord gave Pastor Kevin J. Pushia and other saints a vision to organize Greater Faith Tabernacle Church of Deliverance. After much prayer and fasting, Pastor Pushia Met with Deacon Willie Pushia and Deaconess Barbara Pushia on June 17, 2000 at 6:00 p.m. in his home to discuss the collective vision God gave him. After meeting, the decision was made to hold the first worship service on Sunday, September 3, 2000 at 3:30 p.m. Pastor Darryl Stephens of St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church, 2701 E. Monument Street, graciously opened his church for Greater Faith to use for worship until the church received its own edifice. Because of the great increase of blessings God had bestowed upon Greater Faith they began to search for their own edifice in April of 2001. Over a three month period the devil tried to discourage the saints, but God gave them strength to endure. God showed up at the right time to give them what he was ready for them to possess. After Pastor Pushia fasted and prayed, God lead him in the order of purchasing real estate for the church. God blessed Greater Faith with two real esate properties on July 18, 2001, 2622-2624 McElderry Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21205. They were paid for in full. On November 2003, settlement for the property was finalized in order for renovations and construction to begin on the property. The renovation and construction was headed by Deacon Charles Underwood. Greater Faith's Grand Opening was on April 3, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. It took faith for Greater Faith to Wait on the Lord and be of good courage. Greater Faith is a church that is under the umbrella of the anointing, and is dedicated to uplifting the name of Jesus and saving souls. | ||||||||||||||||||
