| THE RETURN OF VEGETA- Part 1 Once Trunks and Goten arrived home, after gathering all seven dragonballs, Bulma ran out, screaming that the two children were home. Bulma had been worried for the past two weeks, wondering if the two had been killed. If they had, then there were no other saiyajins on the planet. Even Gohan was dead. Majin Buu, the worst threat to Earth, so far, had killed him. Now, there was a new threat: Bobbity�s son, Bebidy. Bebidy was much, MUCH stronger than his father and grandfather combined, and he was only 5 YEARS OLD! However, he had the power of a 24 year old. He had already killed Vegeta, who sacrificed himself to save the others. It was the only moment that the others had seen Vegeta do something not for him, but for the good of the others. An energy blast had been aimed at Trunks, who was fighting alongside with the other Z-Fighters. Vegeta knew that if that beam hit Trunks, he�d be dead in an instant. Vegeta threw himself in front of the beam, taking the hit for Trunks. Trunks ran over to his dying father, picked up his head, and heard the last words Vegeta would ever speak: �Trunks� I�m� very� p-p-pr-pro-proud of� you. You�ve be� become� a� very� powerful� saiyajin. Protect your mother. Please!� Vegeta said. Just after he finished, he went totally limp in Trunks� arms. Bebidy escaped, but Trunks and Goten vowed to get revenge. Bebidy hadn�t even reached his total power level. After that, Bulma couldn�t even talk about Vegeta without breaking out into a state of crying and shock. Just the thought of Vegeta sent her into that state. Bebidy was on the same quest as Trunks and Goten. He was also searching for the dragonballs. Luckily, Trunks and Goten had found all seven, and now, they were ready to call one of the dragons. Hopefully, with Chichi and Bulma�s knowledge combined, they would know which dragon to call. Vegeta had already died once, when he first threatened the Earth with the rest of the saiyajin race. �Mommy, which dragon are we going to call? Is it The Eternal Dragon, or Shenlong?� Trunks asked Bulma. �Well, I�m not quite sure, but I think we need to call Shenlong. Yes, now that I think about it, he�s the one Vegeta� told� me� uh�� Bulma said. With that, she burst into tears, running into the house. She had been like that ever since Vegeta died two years ago. Whenever anyone mentioned Vegeta�s name, Bulma broke into tears, ran into the house, and went to bed. She was a total wreck! �Oh, here we go again! BULMA!!! WAIT!!!� Chichi screamed. Chichi was the only person who could comfort Bulma when she was in this state of shock. Trunks reminded her too much of Vegeta, and there really was no one else left. Plus, Chichi was her best friend, and they had many memories together. �Trunks, why does your mommy do that? Is it because Vegeta is dead? Why do adults get soooooooo upset when someone dies?� Goten asked. �Goten, do you remember when Goku died? You were very upset. I remember my mommy told me that when someone you love dies, it�s natural to cry and be upset. I was upset when daddy died, and so was mommy.� Trunks explained. �Ya, that�s right. You even cried! HA, HA, HA! Trunks cried! Trunks cried!� Goten teased. �Hey, Goten, so did you! You cried when Goku and Gohan died! You�re even more of a baby then I am!� �Ok, let�s not talk about this anymore. Hey, where�s Piccolo? Shouldn�t he be here, to help us?� Goten asked. When Gohan died, Piccolo just totally disappeared. It must have been that he was upset that he let his friend die, or it could be that he is training, training to kill Bebidy. However, no one was sure where their namek-friend was. Many went looking for him, like Kuririn Android 18 and Marron. When they came back, they told everyone they couldn�t find him, that he might be dead. Hopefully, that wasn�t true, as he was a very good friend who should witness Vegeta coming back. After about a half-hour, Bulma came back out, collected the orange spheres from the two kids, and set them on the table. Chichi asked her if she was ready to do this, and she answered with a simple �Yes�. �Come out, Shenlong.� Bulma said. All of a sudden, the dragonballs start glowing and the sky turns soot-black. A pillar of gold smoke erupted, and slowly, the dragon formed in front of all their eyes. �You have collected all seven dragonballs. You have two wishes.� The giant dragon bellowed. �Our first wish is to bring Vegeta back to life.� Bulma barely spoke. In that instant, Vegeta appeared directly in front of Bulma. She nearly broke into tears, ecstatic from the joy of seeing him alive. She threw her arms around him, and just stood there, hugging her husband. Trunks ran over to his now alive father, and gave him a giant hug, as well. However, they still had one more wish. They could use it for many things: any type of personal gain, toys, anything. �Mommy, can I make the last wish? You got to make one, so I should be able to make one, too.� Trunks said. �Huh? Oh, Trunks, why don�t we let Goten and his family make the wish. After all, he did help to bring all the dragonballs together.� Bulma said. �What? Bulma, you don�t have to do that. Go ahead, make another wish! I don�t need anything, except my husband back, but that�s impossible, because he�s training with the supreme kai.� Chichi said. �Well, if no one wants the wish, I�ll take it!� A familiar voice said. Everyone turned around, to see their long-time friend, Piccolo. At least they knew he wasn�t dead. That was a relief. �Piccolo? Where�ve you been? How did you find us?� Bulma asked. �Simple. First, I�ve been off, training. I plan on fighting that Bebidy character. Second, think about it. Where are you? Capsule Corps. I know that this is where you hang out. When I saw the black sky, I sensed a very strong ki coming from this direction. I knew Vegeta had been brought back to life. I followed the ki here. Now, can I make the last wish?� Piccolo asked. �Uh, sure. Go ahead, Piccolo.� Bulma said. No one was quite sure what Piccolo was going to wish for. He didn�t have a wife or a family, and all his friends were here. What else could he wish for? �Shenlong, I wish for a very special person to be brought back to life: Gohan.� TBC� |
