THE CASE OF THE MISSING FOUR-STAR DRAGONBALL

Warnings: Humerous, slight language.
This is my first fanfic... My friend, who is an EXPERT at writing these said it's really good... read it, and see what you think! ;) It was an assignment in english, to write sentences, or a paragraph using 15 vocabulary words. They're in there, somewhere... :)

In the middle of the night, a dark shadow entered a house, and stole a very rare item: the four-star dragonball. When it is used with the other six dragonballs, it has the power to call the Eternal Dragon, who will then grant a wish. Now, it has been stolen, and the burglar is unknown.
The next morning, Goten woke up, got in the shower, and went downstairs for breakfast. When he finished breakfast, he went upstairs to call Trunks.
"Hey, Trunks-kun. Do you wanna spar today? I discovered a new area we could spar, so I figured you might wanna go there. Do you?" asked Goten.
"Sure, but I gotta get in the shower first. Come over here in a half-hour, ok?" replied Trunks.
"Ok, just hurry up. I wanna beat you today! Ha, ha, ha. See ya in a little bit!"
Just as Goten hung up the phone, he realized that his four-star dragonball was missing! Goten knew he hadn't used it in a while, so it couldn't be on the other side of the world.
"Hmm, where did that dragonball go? Maybe Kaasan's seen it." Goten hopped down the stairs, and met his Kaasan in the kitchen. "Hey Kaasan, have you seen the four-star dragonball? It was on my shelf, but its not there anymore. Did you take it to bring dad back?" asked Goten.
"Goten, I already told you. Your father doesn't want to come back yet. He thinks that every time he comes back to life, trouble comes. He told us that he was going to train with King Kai. When he feels it's safe to come back, he will tell us. Until then, we have to respect his wishes, and let him do what he wants." Chi-chi answered.
"Oh yeah, I remember that now. Well, do you know what happened to it? It was on my shelf"
"Yes, honey. You told me it was on your shelf, remember? Anyway, no, I haven't seen the dragonball. The last time I saw it was on your shelf, when you were showing Trunks." Chi-chi replied.
"Maybe Trunks-kun knows where it is. I'll get over there now and find out." Goten starts to fly out of the door, and then comes back. "Duh, he's in the shower. Well, I could fly really slow and maybe get over there soon. See ya later, Kaasan!"
Goten flew out of the house, and got to Trunks' house in ten minutes. Just as he knocked on the door, Trunks opened it.
"Oh, hey Trunks-kun. Do you know what happened to my four-star dragonball? It was on my shelf last night, but it's not there now."
"Hmm. No, Goten. I don't know what happened to your dragonball. Maybe it was stolen ha, ha, ha." Trunks replied.
"Do you really think that's what happened? I hope not. Maybe someone is trying to brink Majin Buu back to life If that's true, we might have to fight him again."
"I think it was stolen, but not to brink Majin Buu back to life. That tub-o-lard can't do anything for himself. Let's go look for clues. Maybe we'll find out who stole it. Hey! We can be detectives! Wouldn't that be cool?" asked Trunks.
"Let's go look outside my window. There might be hard evidence to find!" Goten said.
"Ok, but we need to focus. We can't go making claims at everyone, when we aren't really sure. We need to have a plan; a method of obtaining information, without people taking notice to what we are trying to do."
"Right. That's why you are my best friend, Trunks-kun. You are really smart! I think when we finish investigating, we should make an outline of everyone's alibi."
So Trunks and Goten flew off, looking for clues outside Goten's window. They found Vegeta, and decided to question him.
"Vegeta-san, have you seen my four-star dragonball? It was on my shelf, but it's gone now. Do you know what happened to it? I think someone stole it. Do you have any idea of who might have stolen it?" Goten asked.
"Brat, why would I know who stole your dragonball? All I know is that I didn't take it. Now leave me alone; I have to go train in the Gravity Chamber." Vegeta answered.
"Well, according to Tousan, he didn't take it, and he doesn't know who took it. Let's go see Piccolo; maybe he knows who took it."
Trunks and Goten flew off again, looking for Piccolo. They found him meditating, 6 feet off the ground.
"Hey, Piccolo-san. Have you seen Goten's four-star dragonball? It was stolen sometime during the night. We've talked to Tousan, and he said he doesn't know who took it. Do you have any idea where it might be?" Trunks asked.
"No, I don't know. My guess is that they took it to bring some evil person back to life, such as Majin Buu, or maybe Debora. Anyway, I don't want to get into an argument with you." Piccolo said.
As Piccolo finished talking, he began meditating again. Trunks and Goten flew away, trying to figure out this strange code.
"It has to be someone evil. Could Freeza try to bring back the evil saiyajins? We can't assume that an evil person took the dragonball, because maybe you just misplaced it? Can you think of anyone who would steal it? Let's just go back to your house, and we can search your room for the dragonball." Trunks said.
"Trunks-kun, your conduct isn't the same today as it was yesterday."
Goten and Trunks flew off, heading to Goten's home. They met Chi-chi in the kitchen.
"Hi, Kaasan! Can you make Trunks-kun and I lunch?" Goten asked.
"Hello, Goten and Trunks. What would you like for lunch? I can make a turkey sandwich, or I can just make you a standard lunch. Which would you like?" Chi-chi asked.
"Well, Chi-chi-san, can you make me a turkey sandwich? Our main objective is to look for the four-star dragonball. We talked to Tousan, and he said he didn't know who might have stolen it. We also talked to Piccolo-san, and he said the same thing. We've resorted to tearing Goten's room apart to find it." Trunks said.
"Well, good-luck. I hope you find it!" Chi-chi said.
"Thank you, Kaasan.!"
Goten and Trunks ran up to Goten's room and when they got there, they were astounded. The four-star dragonball was there, on the shelf. It wasn't there before! This time, though, there was another dragonball, the three-star dragonball!
"Happy Birthday, Goten! Are you surprised?!? I had the four-star and the three-star dragonballs. When I came over the first time, I gave them to Chi-chi to put up on your shelf! Now, you have two dragonballs! SURPRISE!!!" Trunks yelled.
Indeed, it was Goten's birthday, and he got the best gift ever: being with his two favorite people.
