Dorothy Mae Naber, born 01 APR 1925 at Holland, WI; married 26 JUN 1948 Edward
Schuitema; born 26 MAR 1919; son of William Schuitema and Etta Fairbanks;
Dot graduated from Holland High and Holland Business college in 1943. First national bank
was her employer for six years. Later she worked for a contracting firm for 15 years. She
is active in Ebenezer Reformed Church, singing in the choir and Sunday School teacher.
Her hobbies are biking, reading, cooking and BAKING. Anyone who received her Christmas
cookie package will agree that this is her specialty.
Ed was in the Army Airforce during WWII for 4 years. As the only survivor of his aircraft,
he was hospitalized in Frankfort, Germany for six months and spent the remaining time in
Poland at Stalog Luft Prison Camp. He worked at the Holland Furnace Co., later at the
Holland Hitch Co. He enjoys rading and is "Mr. Fix-it" as far as anything
mechanical.
