Hal graduated from Ottawa Hills High School. He worked for Interstate Freight Systems until
1942 when he enlisted as a naval Aviation Cadet in the US Navy and graduated an Ensign in 1943. He
resigned from the navy in 1946 and became a sales Representative for the Wolverine Shoe Company.
From 1947 until retirement in 1978 he was President and Secretary of baby Bliss, Inc. He enjoys
golf, reading, opera.
Jean graduated from the Virginia VerVeer Finishing and Modeling Schools and Nancy Taylor Course
for Business women, Davenport College. From 1969 to the present time she is managing Director
of "The Finishing Touch" and "Beauty for Teens" at Steketee's Department
Store at Grand Rapids, MI
Jean is a lecturer and guest speaker for colleges, businesses and women's organizations. She has
been modeling for 25 years and also worked in business as a secretary. In her spare time(?)
she likes bridge, golf, music, reading and gardening.
