THEODORE MALLDER was from Saxony. I don't know when or how he immigrated to America, but he apparently went to New York State. My ggrandmother, Amelia Christianna Mallder was born there. Theodore married Bessie Clark, born in Ireland, but I don't know where. Theodore is said to have been a musician of some note, a violinist. It is said he died on the trip west, somewhere around Dubuque, IA. They had the following children:
1. Amelia Christianna, born 13 DEC 1858; died 04 MAY 1944;
2. Theodore, jr., born 1860;
3. Adolph, born 1861;
4. William Clark, born 1864, married Sarah Mabee; died 08 JAN 1944.
