The Life and Times of Sir Justin: The Tom Cat Files

This is the first place that we have been able to own a pet(one of the many perks of being a home owner), so I was making curtains with my new lively kitten. Justin really had a blast helping me with them. He loves to sew! Well, not so much the sewing itself-he leaves that to mommy. Justin loves helping me measure things. Ah, my cat, the math nerd. And at such a young age!

Ok, your asking, "How does a cat help you measure things?" I spred the material on the floor, and get my measuring tape; at which point, my kitty paws at it, when I move it to work my way down the fabic's edge. Try this at home, your cat will love you.

Here he is helping me spred out my fabric. See, he knews that the measuring comes next.

Measuring and cutting matterial is hard work. So hard, that Justin needed to take a break, while Mommy finish up with the ironing.

But the resting doesn't end there! Now, Mommy gets to sew while Justin supervises.

I really couldn't resist taking these. We had been given this huge mirror which Justin took a fondness to. Since he couldn't resist the temptation of sitting on my matterial, and he fancied the mirror, this was his favorite spot to sit and watch me sew.
