1) Trade by mail of digital material on the basis of a full CD (700 Mb),
irrespective of the number of albums, files or works that the CD might
contain. Ratio 1:1. If you are a member of Mp3 Traders Hideout, we send the
CDs simultaneously. Or else, you agree to send first. I am a very reliable
trader. If you ask it, I can provide you the e-mails of dozens of people
worldwide that I have traded with.
2) Additional material will be included (i.e. lyrics, CD covers, etc.) in the
album folder, if this information appears in my Excel List for this album.
The size of this material will be taken into account for completion of the
CD.
3) Please use branded CD's and make sure that the disks can be read and
copied after burning. I currently use Samsung disks. We do not overburn the
CDs. No jewel cases are required but please, pack the CD's carefully.
4) Each album must have a proper folder name (Artist Name - Album Title,
i.e., The Rolling Stones - Flashback) and each track must also have a
proper track number and song title. We try to put albums from the same artist
(if there are any) in the same CD. Please DO NOT send
me albums without track names (i.e. Track 1, Track 2 etc). Also: I DO
NOT except mp3s with bitrate lower than 128 Bps.
5) If trade agreed, please send an e-mail stating when completed CD's are due
to be sent. We use a protected envelope. I send by registered mail and I keep
the receipt. (It is your choice if you do not want to send the package
registered, and your responsibility to resend if it gets lost).
6) Items should be resent, in case they are not received and/or contents have
been damaged either on shipment or recording. Furthermore, as I'm unable to
check everything, I'll replace at my expense whatever you're not satisfied
with, if your complaint is justified.
7) It’s
clear that these rules are valid for me too. The rules, as anything else, can
be changed. But changes must be agreed. If you don't agree with any or all of
the above, be honest and just tell me. It's much better not setting up the
trade than complaining later.
There is
a proverb in my country: “Good agreements make good friends”.
After
all, it’s a hobby – not a business. So, we must not forget that the important
thing is to ENJOY. Thank you.
