| North west China Again by plane, we arrived at Lanzhou,where we left by bus for Xiahe in the mountains (3000 meter). Th road was under construction, so it took a lot of time to overcome the 240 kilometer. The most interesting part of Xiahe is the Labrang Monastery, with 1000 monks and many pilgrims. It is also possible to visit the nomads in the hills. By speedboat we visited the Bing Ling Si caves, with the 1000 Bhudda statues. |
