| TENKAI STAR - Tir McDohl Found: Gregminster (Auto) Utility: (Hero) War Group: Commander's Team Default Rune: Soul Eater (True Rune) Description: Son of distinguished Imperial General Teo McDohl, Tir has come of age and is now expected to follow in his father's footsteps in the Imperial Army of the Scarlet Moon Empire. But witnessing the Empire's corruption and being entrusted with a Cursed True Rune leads him on a path that will make him leader of the Liberation Army. Another one of those silent-hero types. TENGOU STAR - Lepant Found: Kouan (Auto-joins once you steal Kirinji) Utility: --- War Group: Lepant Family Default Rune: --- Description: A rich nobleman guy living in Kouan, whose solution to not liking the Empire is to lock the door to his big mansion and never come out. When you are refused entry, breaking in and stealing his beloved sword Kirinji lures him out, and he finally comes around and joins when you help save his wife from Kraze. TENKI STAR - Mathiu Silverberg Found: Seika (Talk to him w/ Odessa's [Earring]) Utility: Strategist (NPC) War Group: Strategists Default Rune: --- Description: A former Imperial strategist, Mathiu is the brother of Liberation Army founder Odessa. He wants nothing to do with war, and despises the thought of taking someone else's life. After learning of Odessa's death, he reluctantly joins the Liberation Army and becomes head strategist. |
| TENKAN STAR - Luc Found: Toran Castle (Auto) Utility: Stone Tablet (PC) War Group: Children of the Runes Default Rune: (True) Wind Rune, but functions like a normal Wind Rune Description: Apprentice to Leknaat the Seer, and a mischievious one at that. He is skilled with teleportation and Wind magic, though physically you could probably kill him with a toothpick. Anyway, he joins automatically when Lekkie shows up for one of her pep talks. TENYU STAR - Humphrey Mintz Found: Kaku/Toran Castle (Joins automatically w/ Flik) Utility: --- War Group: Humphrey's Team Default Rune: Description: A silent swordsman who keeps to himself, Humphrey is a member of the original Liberation Army under Odessa. He was in the Imperial Army until witnessing the Kalekka incident, then he quit. He has ties to Kreutz and Joshua Levenheit, the Dragon Knight Captain. Humphrey takes Futch under his wing after the boy loses his dragon, Black. TENYU STAR - Kasim Hazil Found: Moravia Castle (Rescue Warren and Viktor from his castle...he will join at Mathiu's urging) Utility: --- War Group: Former Imperials Default Rune: Description: One of the Five (Six) Great Generals of the Empire, Kasim is in charge of watching the northern border and the Senan area. Mathiu sends a letter to the forces of Jowston, a country to the north, and they attack, surrounding the castle and forcing Kasim to surrender. He joins the army at the urging of Mathiu, as well as Kwanda and Milich. |
| TENMOU STAR - Kwanda Rosman Found: Pannu Yakuta Castle (Beat his army, beat him one-on-one, and spare his life) Utility: --- War Group: Invulnerable Defense Default Rune: Description: One of the Five (Six) Great Generals of the Empire, Kwanda is the first to be defeated by the Liberation Army. He reigns over the Great Forest region of the land, where the Elves and Dwarves and Kobolds dwell. Under the influence of Windy's Black Rune, he uses the Burning Mirror to destroy the Elf Village. However, when defeated he comes to his senses and joins remorsefully in an attempt to restore the Emperor to 'the man he once was.' TENI STAR - Pesmerga Found: Neclord's Castle (After beating Neclord, and castle must be level 4, I believe) Utility: --- War Group: Experts Default Rune: Description: Mysterious black knight. Nothing is known about Pesmerga, save that he is in pursuit of another black knight named Yuber, who is associated with Windy and Neclord. A real enigma. TENEI STAR - Gremio Found: Gregminster (Auto, you start with him)///Toran Castle (Recruit 107 Stars before final war battle) Utility: --- War Group: Commander's Team Default Rune: --- Description: The loyal servant of Teo and Tir McDohl, who raised Tir from infancy. He is very, very protective of Tir, and would do anything to keep him away from harm. He has a specialty for cooking stew, and tends to cry "Oh my goodness" at any given time. Doesn't seem to get along well with Viktor, but is close to Cleo, Pahn, and Ted. At Soniere Prison, he dies saving the party from Milich's Spores of Agony, but if you recruit 107 Stars before the final army battle with Yuber's forces, then Leknaat will revive him. ^_^ |
| TENKI STAR - Warren Found: Moravia Castle (Rescue him and Viktor from the cell) Utility: --- War Group: Viktor's Team Default Rune: --- Description: A nobleman from the Empire who supports the Liberation Army, and is imprisoned for it. Once you rescue him from the castle of Kasim Hazil, he joins. His servant is Taggart. TENFU STAR - Kun To Found: Kirov Utility: --- War Group: Merchants Default Rune: --- Description: A smuggler/merchant who is an old acquaintance of Tai Ho. When the Liberation Army needs boats to transport their Fire Spears to Toran, he is convinced by Tai Ho to join. TENMAN STAR - Cleo Found: Gregminster (Auto, you start with her) Utility: --- War Group: Soldier Beauties Default Rune: She receives a Fire Rune from Leknaat, but you don't have to attach it to her Description: Another devoted servant of the McDohl family. Cleo tends to keep order between all the arguing males (Ted, Gremio, Pahn, Viktor, etc...) and doesn't show much of her emotion, but you can tell it's tough for her as many of the people she's close to die in the war. She joins the Army when Tir does. |
| TENKO STAR - Viktor Found: Gregminster (Don't worry, he'll join automatically. Can't advance da plot w/o Viktor! ^^) Utility: --- War Group: Viktor's Team Default Rune: He eventually comes to possess the Star Dragon Sword, a manifestation of the Night Rune. Description: A seemingly carefree swordsman, Viktor is impulsive and loud and generally fun. He's a member of the original Liberation Army under Odessa, and is the one who first introduces Tir to the rebels. He seems to have a personal vendetta against Neclord, and is always arguing with either Gremio or Flik. ^_^ TENSYO STAR - Valeria Found: Village of the Elves (Joins after you're thrown in jail) Utility: --- War Group: Former Imperials Default Rune: Falcon Description: Valeria is a very headstrong swordswoman who doesn't take no for an answer. Formerly a member of the Imperial army, she quit when she learned of Kwanda Rosman's plan to destroy the Great Forest and her hometown with the Burning Mirror. She appeals to the Elves for help, but is thrown in jail. She accompanies Tir to the Dwarf Village, but multiple delays prevent them from saving the Elves in time. Valeria joins the army permanently after that. TENRITSU STAR - Griffith Found: Northern Checkpoint (Defeat his army and invite him to join) Utility: --- War Group: Former Imperials Default Rune: --- Description: Commander of the Northern Checkpoint dividing the Senan and Kunan regions, Griffith is sneak-attacked by Liberation forces under Mathiu's guidance. Surrendering, Griffith wishes only that his men not be harmed, and joins the Army. He also agrees to pretend to have captured Mathiu in order to trick Kasim Hazil. |
| TENSYO STAR - Clive Found: Rikon (Have a level 4 castle, and he shows up randomly at the inn) Utility: --- War Group: Experts Default Rune: --- Description: As mysterious as he is elusive. Clive is searching for a woman, for reasons currently unknown. He is a member of the cryptic gun-using group the Howling Voice Guild, of Harmonia. He doesn't really appear to have any personal interest in the war, but joins the Liberation Army anyway TENAN STAR - Flik Found: Kaku/Toran Castle (Joins eventually after being disgruntled) Utility: --- War Group: Warrior's Village Kids Default Rune: Lightning Description: A hot-blooded member of the original Liberation Army, and Odessa's lover to boot. He distrusts Tir at first, and especially after hearing of Odessa's death, he refuses to accept Tir's leadership. He eventually comes around and becomes a great asset to the Army. Constantly at odds with Viktor, but they're really friends. ^^ TENYU STAR - Camille Found: Kaku (Auto) Utility: --- War Group: Soldier Beauties Default Rune: --- Description: A debt collector known as 'Camille the She-Devil'. She hunts after Gremio because, believe it or not, he forgot to pay for a banquet bill back in Gregminster. Odd reason or not, she joins the Liberation Army because at the time they don't have the money to pay off the debt. ^^ |
| TENKU STAR - Kreutz Found: Dragon Knight's Fortress (Talk to him w/ Humphrey) Utility: --- War Group: Default Rune: --- Description: A loyalist to the former Emperor Geil Rugner, Kreutz would like nothing more than to help de-throne the man who killed his former master, namely Emperor Barbarossa. He joins after threatening Humphrey a bit. ^^ TENSOKU STAR - Stallion Found: Kobold Village (Auto) Utility: --- War Group: Forest Protectors Default Rune: Godspeed Description: The fastest Elf in the village, Stallion's entire life-purpose and dream seems to be...run really fast. ^^; Anyway, thanks to his speed, he and Sylvina survive the destruction of the Village of the Elves. Before the assault on Pannu Yakuta Castle, he joins. TENI STAR - Kage Found: Secret Factory (Pay him 10,000 bits to hire him) Utility: --- War Group: Ninjas Default Rune: Description: A contract ninja who will work for anyone who pays him. Kage proves this by working for the Empire to deliver the Burning Mirror blueprints to Kwanda Rosman. Later, he is found working for the Liberation Army. He joins, and when his contract expires after the war, he vanishes. |
| TENSATSU STAR - Fu Su Lu Found: Kobold Village (Pay 20,000 bits for his meal) Utility: --- War Group: Kobolds Default Rune: Description: A man in a tiger mask who eats a lot. Not much else is known, but if you buy his dinner, he'll join your army, so that's a plus. ^_^ TENBI STAR - Kirkis Found: Toran Castle (Auto) Utility: --- War Group: Forest Protectors Default Rune: --- Description: An injured Elf that shows up on the shore of Toran Castle. Kirkis warns the Liberation Army of Kwanda Rosman's domination of the Great Forest. He is open-minded for an Elf, and tries his best to unite humans, Dwarves, Elves and Kobolds. His girlfriend Sylvina is not so open-minded, but she helps him out of love. Accompanying Tir to the Dwarf realm, they are too late to save the Elves from destruction, but Kirkis joins the Army in an effort to unite the races of Great Forest. TENKYU STAR - Milich Oppenheimer Found: Scarleticia Castle (Beat his army and spare his pathetic life) Utility: --- War Group: Narcissists Default Rune: Description: One of the Five (Six) Great Generals of the Empire, known as the "Flower General". And boy, is this guy flamboyantly fruity. He's a hard guy to like, especially after he kills Gremio under the influence of the Black Rune. If you can bring yourself to spare his life, then he'll join you, fashion sense and all. |
| TENTAI STAR - Pahn Found: Gregminster (start) / Kouan (joins once you beat Kraze's men) Utility: --- War Group: Commander's Team Default Rune: Boar Description: A loyal McDohl family servant, Pahn is so nervous about causing trouble when Teo is away that when Ted gets caught by the Imperial Guard, Pahn betrays them to the Empire. Later on, he comes to his senses and joins the Liberation Army. He loves to eat and is always eager to start a fight. (*He CAN die in the one-on-one battle with Teo McDohl, however, if he wins, he will survive). TENJYU STAR - Sonya Shulen Found: Toran Castle (Beat her army at Shasarazade, beat her, and talk to her in the jail cell at Toran) Utility: --- War Group: Soldier Beauties Default Rune: Water? Description: One of the Five (Six) Great Generals of the Empire, and commander of the Imperial Navy. Sonya is the last general to join the Liberation Army, and is reluctant to do so, especially since she blames Tir for the death of Teo McDohl, who she had feelings for. After getting beaten at her fortress, she wants just to die, but is taken alive instead. Eventually she is convinced, and joins. TENKAN STAR - Anji Found: Pirate's Fortress (Beat him, Leonardo and Kanak in combat w/ Tai Ho and Yam Koo) Utility: --- War Group: Pirates Default Rune: Description: Leader of the lake pirates of Lake Toran, Anji basically hangs out in his fortress with pals Kanak and Leonardo all day, playing tricks on Sonya Shulen. At Tai Ho's convincing, he joins along with the others. |
| TENHEI STAR - Tai Ho Found: Kaku (Beat him at Chinchirorin) Utility: --- War Group: Fishermen Default Rune: --- Description: The definition of 'free spirit', Tai Ho does what he pleases, no matter how random. A gambler, he lets the dice 'speak to him'---and when Tir beats him at Chinchirorin, they must be telling him to join, because he does. He is the best friend of Yam Koo, and acquaintances with the lake pirates as well as Kun To. Yam Koo follows him everywhere. TENZAI STAR - Kanak Found: Pirate's Fortress (Joins w/ Anji---beat the three pirates w/ Tai Ho and Yam Koo) Utility: --- War Group: Pirates Default Rune: --- Description: A big, burly man. Kanak is a member of Anji's lake pirates, and joins when Anji and Leonardo do. TENSON STAR - Yam Koo Found: Kaku (Joins w/ Tai Ho) Utility: First Boat (PC) War Group: Fishermen Default Rune: Description: An extremely mellow man, the exact opposite of his friend Tai Ho in fact. He tries to discourage Tai Ho's random whims, but never can, so just follows him everywhere to try and keep him out of trouble. |
| TENPAI STAR - Leonardo Found: Pirate's Fortress (Joins w/ Anji---beat the three pirates w/ Tai Ho and Yam Koo) Utility: --- War Group: Pirates Default Rune: Description: The third pirate in the group that consists of Anji and Kanak as well as Leonardo. He is a thin man, with a helmet that has a huge feathery deal going on. Yeah, he joins. ^^ TENROU STAR - Hix Found: Warrior's Village (Joins automatically when heading for Neclord's Castle) Utility: --- War Group: Warrior's Village Kids Default Rune: Description: Hix is a young man from the village of warriors, but is a very shy and timid-seeming boy. He likes Tengaar, and wants to help her when she is abducted by Neclord, but is too young. He convinces Zorak, the village chief, to allow him to save Tengaar, which he does. ^^ TENSUI STAR - Tengaar Found: Neclord's Castle (Defeat Neclord and she's yours! Easy, eh? ^_~) Utility: --- War Group: Warrior's Village Kids Default Rune: Description: Aah...Tengaar is a very forceful young woman. Daughter of the chief of Warrior's Village, she pushes Hix around all the time (out of love, right?). When she is abducted by Neclord to be his 'bride' (meal), Hix rescues her with the help of Tir and the Liberation Army. She then joins. |
| TENBOU STAR - Varkas Found: Rockland--->Toran Castle (Rescue him and Sydonia in Rockland, they join later automatically) Utility: --- War Group: Bandits Default Rune: Description: Co-leader of the mountain bandits of Mt. Seifu. Varkas is known as the 'Whirlwind Axe'. He is falsely accused by Grady and Kanaan of stealing taxes, and is strung up in Rockland. Later realizing their mistake in helping capture the bandits, Tir and the Liberation Army rescue him and Sydonia, and they repay their gratitude. TENKOKU STAR - Sydonia Found: Rockland--->Toran Castle (Joins w/ Varkas) Utility: --- War Group: Bandits Default Rune: Description: Co-leader of the mountain bandits of Mt. Seifu. Sydonia, a man of few words who possesses a strange innate teleportation ability, is known as 'Marksman Sydonia'. He is captured by the Imperial Guard along with Varkas, and when rescued later, also joins. TENKOU STAR - Eileen Found: Kouan (Save her from Kraze's slimy paws and she joins w/ Lepant) Utility: --- War Group: Lepant Family Default Rune: Description: The lovely wife of the nobleman Lepant, and mother of Sheena. Eileen is part of the reason Lepant joins the Liberation Army---she gets abducted by Kraze for his own personal 'pleasure', but is luckily rescued. |
| CHIKAI STAR - Leon Silverberg Found: Kalekka (W/ level 4 castle, talk to Mathiu to get the [Letter], then give [Letter] to Leon) Utility: Strategist (NPC) War Group: Strategists Default Rune: --- Description: The cryptic uncle of Mathiu and Odessa, Leon is sitting alone in the ruins of Kalekka for unknown reasons when you stumble upon him. A master strategist, he only joins after he is convinced of Mathiu's abilities (meaning you need enough recruits). CHISATSU STAR - Georges Found: Kirov (Win at his card game [a matching game]) Utility: Matching-Card Game (NPC) War Group: Default Rune: --- Description: A pretty average guy, Georges offers for Tir to play a card game (kinda like concentration, only with character portraits from the game ^^). When he wins, Georges joins, simple as that. CHIYU STAR - Ivanov Found: Scarleticia Castle (After beating Milich, talk to him) Utility: Character Mural (NPC) War Group: Artisans Default Rune: --- Description: Ivanov was a simple painter who was forced to stay at Scarleticia Castle by Milich Oppenheimer. He loves to paint, and if you bring him various colors found around the world, he will paint a mural in Toran Castle. Enjoys his newfound freedom. |

Jeane is a mysterious, beautiful runemaster who joins on a whim. In successive games, she does not appear to age. Prone to saying "Tee hee" and dressing scantily. ^^ CHIYU STAR - Eikei Found: Teien (Talk to him when you're at or above a certain level and he'll join) Utility: --- War Group: Invulnerable Defense Default Rune: Description: A tough fighter guy who seeks strong opponents, he refuses to join if your team is not strong enough. CHII STAR - Maximillian Found: Northern Checkpoint (Enter from the south, after beating Griffith, and he'll show up) Utility: --- War Group: Knight's Party Default Rune: Description: Max, essentially a Don Quixote knockoff, is the leader of the Maximillian Knights, appropriately enough. He charges madly around, trying to find the Liberation Army with his servant, Sancho, in tow. Upon realizing that Tir is the leader of said army, he promptly joins. ^_^ |

He follows his master everywhere, and joins when Max does. CHIKI STAR - Grenseal Found: Toran Castle (Joins automatically after beating Teo's forces twice; beating Teo) Utility: --- War Group: Humphrey's Team Default Rune: Thunder Description: An Imperial officer under General Teo McDohl, and completely loyal. He and his partner Alen join the Liberation Army to fulfill Teo's last request. CHIMOU STAR - Alen Found: Toran Castle (Joins automatically after beating Teo's forces twice; beating Teo) Utility: --- War Group: Humphrey's Team Default Rune: Rage Description: An Imperial officer under General Teo McDohl, and completely loyal. He and his partner Grenseal join the Liberation Army to fulfill Teo's last request. |
| CHIBUN STAR - Tesla Found: Antei (Auto) Utility: --- War Group: Engineers Default Rune: --- Description: If there's one thing Tesla makes absolutely clear, it's that he doesn't want to be in the army, and he doesn't want to be caught up in one of Mathiu's "schemes". He even goes so far as to pretend to be someone else when Viktor and Tir and co. visit his home. Tesla is a scribe, and Mathiu needs his services as part of a plan to break Doctor Liukan out of Soniere Prison, and so he reluctantly joins (or rather, is forced to.) ^^ CHISEI STAR - Jabba Found: Rikon (Talk to him w/ a [Nameless Urn]) Utility: Appraisal (NPC) War Group: Tricksters Default Rune: --- Description: A master appraiser who is much too full of himself. He insists that he can appraise anything, and only by bringing him a Nameless Urn (which he cannot appraise) can Tir convince him to join the Liberation Army. Recruitment wise, this sucker's annoying as heck to get. CHIKATSU STAR - Lorelai Found: Seika, Kouan, or Kaku, I forgot which ^^; (Talk to her at a certain level or above to recruit) Utility: --- War Group: Adventurers Default Rune: Description: A tough-skinned woman, searching for ancient secrets and treasure. She won't respect you if you aren't strong enough. |

He joins the army so he can grow his plants once more. CHIKYOU STAR - Joshua Levenheit Found: Dragon Knight's Fortress (Auto) Utility: --- War Group: Dragon Knights Default Rune: Dragon Rune (True Rune) Description: Captain of the Dragon Knights, Joshua is the bearer of a True Rune that allows dragons to exist in the world, and is thus immortal. He knows Humphrey, and agrees to help the Liberation Army if they will find a way to wake up the dragons, which have all been enchanted to slumber. CHIAN STAR - Morgan Found: Qlon Temple Utility: --- War Group: Default Rune: Description: A fighter with no eyesight. Morgan joins when he is asked to. Simple! ^^ |
| CHIJIKU STAR - Mose Found: Secret Factory (Auto) Utility: Blacksmith (PC) War Group: Secret Factory Team Default Rune: Description: One of the blacksmiths who trained under Mace. Mose is already part of the original Liberation Army, so to speak, and works at the Secret Factory in the north, forging Fire Spears. He joins when Tir shows up to get the Spears. CHIKAI STAR - Esmeralda Found: Antei (Talk to her w/ the [Opal]) Utility: --- War Group: Narcissists Default Rune: --- Description: A snotty, stuck-up prissy woman who thinks the world revolves around her. She offers to join the Liberation Army if you bring her an Opal, but she doesn't accomplish -anything- while in the army. :P CHISA STAR - Melodye Found: Kirov (Talk to her w/ the [Sound Crystal]) Utility: Sound Customization (NPC) War Group: Musicians Default Rune: Sound Description: Melodye is a somewhat odd girl who...well, really desires nothing more than to own the Sound Rune. What does it do, you ask? Changes the sound the game makes when you open menus and stuff. Now that's a calling in life. ^_~ |
| CHIYU STAR - Chapman Found: Antei (Talk to him with a certain number of recruits and he'll join) Utility: Armor Shop (NPC) War Group: Default Rune: --- Description: An armor salesman from Antei. At Tir's request, he joins the Liberation Army. CHIREI STAR - Liukan Found: Liukan's Hermitage--->Soniere Prison (Rescue him from his cell in Soniere) Utility: Medical Officer (NPC) War Group: Old Soldiers Default Rune: Description: Liukan is a doctor so famous, he had to withdraw to his own little downstream hideaway to get some peace and quiet. Once Tir gets the usage of the motor boat so he can pass through the Dunan Rapids, he reaches Liukan's Hermitage---only to have the old man adbucted by Milich. Breaking into Soniere Prison proves to be a chore, and Gremio loses his life because of it, but eventually the old man is rescued, and gladly joins the Liberation Army. CHIJYU STAR - Fukien Found: Qlon Temple (Auto-joins upon reaching the temple) Utility: --- War Group: Old Soldiers Default Rune: Resurrection Description: The head priest at Qlon Temple. He foretells of the great gathering of Destiny and the Stars and all that Leknaat-type-stuff, and then joins the Liberation Army. |
| CHIBI STAR - Futch Found: Dragon Knight's Fortress (Auto) Utility: --- War Group: Dragon Knights Default Rune: Description: Tir McDohl first met Futch back in Gregminster when still working for the Imperial Guard---Futch and his dragon, Black, ferried them to Magician's Island to meet Leknaat. Futch is a young dragon knight, and when Liukan says he needs three ingredients to revive the sleeping dragons of the Dragon's Den---moonlight weed, a flower from Barbarossa's garden and third, undisclosed ingredient---Futch takes it upon himself to retrieve the Emperor's flower while Tir and Milia go look for moonlight weed in Seek Valley. Unfortunately, he is caught by Barbarossa---who lets him go---but then Windy appears and kills Black. When Futch awakens, he finds his dragon's heart has been used as the third ingredient. With no dragon, he cannot be a dragon knight, but Humphrey pledges to watch over him until he can fend for himself, and he joins. CHIKYU STAR - Kasumi Found: Toran Castle (Joins automatically when she arrives) Utility: --- War Group: Ninjas Default Rune: Shrike Description: Kasumi, a young ninja of the Rokkaku hamlet, is sent to Toran Castle by Hanzo, the leader. She eagerly joins the fight, and also later helps save Warren and Viktor from imprisonment in Moravia Castle. She has feelings for Tir McDohl, but doesn't express them to him. CHIBOU STAR - Maas Found: Great Forest Village Utility: Blacksmith (PC) War Group: Black Golds Default Rune: Description: One of the blacksmiths that trained under Mace, and the least experienced of them all, Maas is the first one recruited into the Liberation Army. |

CHIKOU STAR - Fuma Found: Dragon Knight's Fortress (Talk to him, he's hiding behind a wall ^_^) Utility: --- War Group: Ninjas Default Rune: Description: Fuma is...an odd ninja. He's hiding behind a wall at the Dragon Knight Fortress, practicing being 'invisible'. Marveled that Tir can see him (he's in full view ^_^;), he joins the Liberation Army gladly. CHIKYOU STAR - Moose Found: Warrior's Village Utility: Blacksmith (PC) War Group: Black Golds Default Rune: Description: One of the blacksmiths that trained under Mace. He joins if you have some of the others. |

Meese is the second one that joins, right after Maas does. CHISOU STAR - Sergei Found: Kaku (Once you actually have a castle, talk to him and he'll join ^^) Utility: Elevator (NPC) War Group: Engineers Default Rune: --- Description: The inventor of the elevator, or at least one of them (in successive games, there is another supposed inventor of the elevator---they can't all do it!). Sergei joins your party once Tir becomes master of Toran Castle, as he is eager to give his invention a home. CHIKOU STAR - Kimberley Found: Antei (Bring Flik ^_^) Utility: --- War Group: Fishermen Default Rune: --- Description: This man-hungry lady is also very skilled at forging official Imperial seals, which is why Mathiu desires her help. The Liberation Army needs Kimberley's seal to break into Soniere Prison to get Dr. Liukan out. Kimberley agrees, however, only if Flik will stay and drink with her. Later, she ends up marrying Tai Ho, but actually has feelings for Yam Koo---make up your mind, already! |

Irresponsible and crude also come to mind. Son of Lepant and Eileen, his father forces him to join the Liberation Army so he'll do something useful. CHISHIN STAR - Kessler Found: Secret Factory (Auto) Utility: --- War Group: Bandits Default Rune: --- Description: Tir first encounters Kessler, along with his associate Ledon, at an inn on Mt. Tigerwolf. Kessler and Ledon are Liberation Army supporters, so when they see Tir at the Secret Factory, they join right away. CHITAI STAR - Marco Found: Warrior's Village (Win 5000 bits from him at his cup-game) Utility: Cup Game (NPC) War Group: Default Rune: --- Description: According to fact, Marco is supposedly a boy, although his portrait seems to make him out as some kind of poor albino grandmother. Anyway, he has a simple game---guess which cup the coin is under. The more you bet, the faster they spin. Actually, if you encounter him in Rockland in the beginning of the game, there is a set pattern to the game (thus, you can cheat, and gain much money ^^), but when you find him later and when you play him at the castle, the pattern is gone. ;_; |

He desires the War Scroll, and once he receives it, he joins the Army to run the library. He holds all the 'Old Books'. CHISYU STAR - Hellion Found: Rikon Utility: Blinking Mirror! (NPC) War Group: Magicians Default Rune: --- Description: A mysterious old seer in Rikon joins the Liberation Army without question. She even brings with her a magical Blinking Mirror---allowing Tir to instantly teleport back to Toran Castle from any point on the map. |

Seeing Tir McDohl wearing Toe Shoes, she asks him to dance with her. Once he does, she's as good as in the Army. CHII STAR - Milia Found: Dragon Knight's Fortress (Auto) Utility: --- War Group: Dragon Knights Default Rune: Description: Vice-Captain of the Dragon Knights. Milia is also the only Dragon Knight aside from Futch whose dragon wasn't affected by the sleeping enchantment that struck all the other dragons. Milia uses her dragon, Thrash, to go to Seek Valley with Tir McDohl in search of moonlight weed to wake the dragons. CHIRI STAR - Kamandol Found: Teien (Joins w/ Gen) Utility: Motorboat War Group: Engineers Default Rune: --- Description: An old alchemist in Teien that doesn't like to be bothered. He is constantly arguing with his friend Gen, but somehow they managed to invent a better engine for a boat. He joins the army when Gen does. |

He joins the Liberation Army once Tir admires his robots. He is Meg's uncle. CHIGAKU STAR - Kasios Found: Scarleticia Castle (Talk to him w/ Milich) Utility: Songs (NPC) War Group: Musicians Default Rune: --- Description: Kasios is a singer who is loyal to Milich. There has been some confusion surrounding this feminine-looking minstrel. For one, yes, Kasios is a guy. (The Old Book saying he was a girl was a mistranslation, as is the fact that Kasios is in 'love' with Milich. He's merely loyal) Seeing Milich in the Liberation Army, of course he immediately joins too. CHIBIN STAR - Viki Found: Great Forest---Forest of Illusion (She'll appear, can't miss her) Utility: Teleportation (NPC) War Group: Magicians Default Rune: Blinking Description: A beyond-clueless girl, Viki randomly appears in the middle of the forest with no idea where she is---in fact, she's never even heard of the Empire. She asks for a place to stay, and teleports to Toran Castle. From the castle, she can teleport you anywhere you've been before on the map. Viki is a mystery! |

However, once Kirkis proves he is powerful enough, he earns Rubi's respect, and the Elf joins the Army. CHICHIN STAR - Vincent de Boule Found: Antei--->Dragon's Den--->Moravia Castle (Rescue him from jail) Utility: --- War Group: Narcissists Default Rune: Description: Vincent is the most flowery person in the game next to Milich. He thinks everyone is his 'dearest friend' (mostly so he can get them to buy his dinner) and really just won't ever be quiet. Tir meets him several times, but finally gets him to join when he rescues the deadbeat from jail. You just...can't not like him, though. ^^ CHIKEI STAR - Meg Found: Kaku (Talk to her w/ Juppo) Utility: --- War Group: Tricksters Default Rune: --- Description: Juppo's niece, who desires nothing more than to go on grand adventures and be a great trickster just like him. (Hey, I never knew that 'trickster' was such a desirable profession until this!). Once she sees that her Uncle Juppo is in the Liberation Army, there's no stopping her from joining too. |

Honestly, that's all he ever does. He has no personality. He's just....Taggart. ^^ CHIYOU STAR - Giovanni Found: Kouan (Joins w/ Lepant) Utility: --- War Group: Thieves Default Rune: --- Description: Giovanni is the Lepant family butler. When Tir and company first meet him, Lepant has posted him at the front door of his mansion and he obviously isn't going to let anyone through. When Lepant decides to join the Liberation Army, Giovanni comes with him. CHIYU STAR - Quincy Found: Garan Fortress (After defeating the army there, and recruiting enough people to satisfy this jerk) Utility: --- War Group: Adventurers Default Rune: Description: Quincy lives in the forest! ...This is all we know, and I think that much is even from his one-line description in the ending. Other than that, the only facts are----he's a jerk, and won't join the Liberation Army unless he's sure they're going to win---which means they needs LOTS of recruits. |

Kai used to live with the McDohls, but evidently just got up one day and left. He just as randomly shows up at Garan Fortress and joins the Liberation Army on a whim. CHIKU STAR - Lotte Found: Rikon (Find her stupid cat in Kaku ^^) Utility: --- War Group: Children of the Runes Default Rune: Description: Lotte has lost her kitty! Can YOU find it? Well, you're going to have to, if you want her to join the Liberation Army. Apparently Lotte is some kind of magician, but I never really paid attention to her. Find her cat, and she joins. ^_^ |

He are save kobold! Woof! ...Honestly, Kuromimi is not the most intelligent example of Suikoden kobolds, but surprisingly enough he's the only one who didn't go "insane" because of the Black Rune that Kwanda Rosman used on his kind. If by that he means a bigger vault to guard, that must be why he joins the Liberation Army. Once there, he can store all that spare junk you have no room to lug around. CHIDO STAR - Ledon Found: Secret Factory (Joins w/ Kessler) Utility: --- War Group: Thieves Default Rune: --- Description: Ledon made a bad first impression when he drugged Tir, Gremio, Viktor, Cleo, and Odessa and tried to rob them on Mt. Ledon and Kessler make the mistake of calling Ronnie 'giant woman' and she looks capable of throttling them both. She works at the Secret Factory with Mose, and joins the Liberation Army when they pick up the Fire Spears. CHISYU STAR - Gaspar Found: Kaku (Beat him at Chinchirorin) Utility: Chinchirorin Game (NPC) War Group: Invulnerable Defense Default Rune: --- Description: A gambler in Kaku, Gaspar is angry at Tir McDohl for 'taking away Tai Ho'---apparently his best customer. So, Tir beats him soundly at his own game, and he joins---plus, you can play it at your castle and take MORE money away from him. ^^ |

Unsurprisingly, it eventually does, and bam, he joins the army. CHIIN STAR - Marie Found: Seika (Once you have a castle, talk to her) Utility: Inn (NPC) War Group: Good Buddies Default Rune: --- Description: A generally kindhearted soul, Marie lets Tir McDohl, Gremio and Cleo hide in her inn at Gregminster when they first become fugitives...however, she gets in trouble for it and shows up in Seika. To return the favor, Tir lets her join the Liberation Army and she runs the inn/save point there. CHIKEI STAR - Zen Found: Qlon Temple (Bring him all the Colored Seeds) Utility: --- War Group: Default Rune: --- Description: Zen just wants some seeds! He's dissatisfied because Milich changed the names of the towns in the Kunan region to ...well, fruity names Milich likes. He joins the Liberation Army so he can greet people there instead. It's uncertain where he's from, but when the Liberation Army meets him in the ruins of the Elves' Village, he is dismayed----not because of world chaos or mass destruction, oh no---he's much more annoyed that he'll have to re-draw his map. To stop the map from changing through all the destruction, he joins the army. CHIZOKU STAR - Krin Found: Kouan ("Steal" Kirinji) Utility: --- War Group: Thieves Default Rune: Description: A slimy cretin, Krin tries to pull the same trick on Tir and company that Ledon did--the drugged tea. Fortunately they're wise to him ("Hee hee hee") and eventually get him to join the Liberation Army. | NON-STAR - Ted Joins: Gregminster (start with) Leaves: Gregminster Default Rune: He has "Soul Eater" until he gives it up to Tir McDohl Description: A war-orphan with a secret, and Tir's best friend. Adopted by Teo, Ted is actually 300 years old, and the bearer of the True Rune "Souleater". When the Empire finds out, Windy attacks him in an attempt to take the rune for herself. Pretending to still have the rune, he gives it to Tir and holds off the Imperials. Later, in Seek Valley, he lets Souleater take his soul after losing control of his will to Windy's Conqueror Rune. NON-STAR - Odessa Silverberg Joins: Lenankamp Leaves: Lenankamp Default Rune: Wind Description: Sister of Mathiu and niece of Leon Silverberg, Odessa was the founder of the original Liberation Army, whose members included herself, Humphrey Mintz, Flik, Viktor, and Sanchez. She takes a liking to Tir after being introduced by Viktor, and goes with him to Sarady to deliver blueprints. Upon returning to Lenankamp, the hideout is compromised, and Odessa dies saving a child. Her dying wish is to thrown into the river so none may know she died, and to take her earring to Mathiu so that he will help the cause. |
