The new 911 model was launched in 1997. Not only has the new 911 kept up with the times visually, but the engine is now cooled by water instead of air. The unique Porsche sound has been retained, although it has been subdued somewhat to comply with the latest noise restriction regulations. But overall the new 911 has all the classic features of its predecessors: it is a comfortable sports car, which is equipped with the newest technical innovations and is completely suitable for everyday use.
