The With 347 bhp the CLK 55 AMG is the most powerful version of the CLK launched on the 2002 Geneva Motorshow. Mercedes Benz' sport department, AMG, have taken the 5 litre V8 of the CLK 500 and increased the stroke by 8 mm resulting in an increase of over 40 bhp to 347 bhp. As with all AMG models the CLK 55 is only available with an automatic gearbox.
