Audi Rosemeyer Concept launched in 2000. The Rosemeyer is powered by a mid mounted huge 8.0lt W16 engine with 630 bhp / 470 kw of power and 760 Nm of torque to push it to a top speed of 217 mph / 350 km/h. The styling of the Rosemeyer has been inspired by the Auto Union racers of the late 1930s, some of these were also powered by mid mounted 16 cylinder engines.
