I bought this boat in Riverside California August 2005 from a man who loved it but was forced to sell by his wife. It was professionally maintained. This boat is perfect for fishing, diving, surfing, general boating fun, and over night trips. Despite the hot weather here the cabin in this boat is very cool due to the ventilation system. Blankets are needed at night. I have made many modifications to the boat, such as the fishing arch and Bimini. I have performed a few engine repairs, and the engine has run well since. The first repair was a failed engine cooling pump. The second repair was reversing two spark plug wires that someone had reversed. In the process I changed out the exhaust elbows which is necessary every 2-3 years. The advantage of this inboard engine is that it is easy to maintain, parts are auto parts (unless marine grade are needed like spark plugs). A newly rebuilt engine of this type could be purchased and shipped out here for $4k, if ever the need arises. Outboards are far more expensive. However proper inspections and preventative maintenance will see this engine lasting for years.
The boat was originally named "Runs with Scissors" but the name was removed to make room for the fishing arch. It has yet to be renamed and for now goes by �RWS�.
This boat has been an absolute pleasure to own, however my time in the islands is coming to an end and I need to sell. Ready to put in the water today!
