Re:      Internet Home Page v. 0.3.2

This site is defunct and only kept semi-alive for historical purposes and possibly for reference. Instead of this head-in-a-jar monstrosity, check out my current web home located at monodrone.org. Thx. ~ Jeff

It’s evolution, baby.

Somewhere in the back of my brain, I intended to continue and update this website, perhaps once I’d settled into American life once again and begun to figure things out. But as the months dragged on, I finally remembered the cardinal lesson of my first 27 years: you can never “figure things out.”

Because I dig having version numbers at the top of this page, I’ve increased the version incrementally. Don’t expect too much new stuff, or anything. This is less of a website and more of an attic — sort of a twisted cyber-extension of my memories and thoughts. Though not as cool as that sounds.

Here are the contents:

And down here is my basic contact information. I rarely use instant messaging apps but you might spot me once in a while.

In case you just wonder where I am and what’s up with me, I am gonna try to give you a quick status note towards the end here whenever I update anything:

Living in:
Washington, DC, future home of the “Nats”, current home to a kazillion Texan Republican politicians, um, why do I like it here again?
Working at:
Sigh... Georgetown University Law Center... Wishing for a new job...
Reading:
Polish homework, European history, some Mark Twain stories, and still trying to read The Spear of Destiny.
Listening to:
Mercury Rev, Les Savy Fav, Luna, Nina Nastasia, internet radio, mp3 blogs
Cooking:
Leeks (they are fun!), barley (not worth the effort), taro (interesting), pine nuts, risotto (I never really tried before)

Tha small print: No copyrights here! Borrow judiciously! ... Like most websites, this looks way better in Firefox... Sorry ‘bout the geocities business; someday I’ll pay to have a real site (and be a real boy?)... I have some bookmarks and some photos and some shout-outs that might be worth a gander... Also some guitar tablature...

1 Somehow AOL recently deleted my old account for no apparent reason. So au revoir, “jeffnotjef”!

2 They only allow fifteen characters so this id is sort of a compromise. Audioscrobbler mostly just chronicles what I listen to at work.

3 I use this far less even than IM but, hey, I do need some new friends.
