The Genod's

In the early and middle twenty-first century, humans experimented with genetic sciences, and at first it was a carefully controlled science. But as the Apocolyptic War dawned, all control was lost. Genod's were now being created to withstand biological and chemical weapons, instead of the benevolent puposes for which they were initially engineered.

The balance of power began to shift from the humans to those Genods that they created. This scared the humans, so the Genod's were forced into encampments where they could be controlled and monitored, and their reproduction was strictly inhibited. After the War, many Genod's escaped. Afraid for their lives, they hid among the humans denying their own existance, afraid of prejudice and recrimination.

Soon the Genod's began to organize, in secret, and even began to reproduce.Some even bore children with common humans, creating a hybrid race. Genod's, as they battle for freedom, often consider themselves superior to the common human.
