| Solomon Island | |||||
| Xilot couldnt contend with Rouin, partly because his pride wouldnt allow it and partly because he knew he was to drunk to command. He did, however, keep a log:
Captains Log, date 6/27/10202 I have agreed to this adventure to find yet another stowaway, yet this one seems stronger then Rouin. I detest this action but it cant be helped because if we were to attack them, they could destroy my whole crew of 120 men with ease. This power, this Trianchu is a force that I would like to obtain but I have heard that it is beyond the grasp of those who seek it and only comes to those born with it. Ships log, 6/30/10202 We have come to a section of the sea that is perilous. Its waters are infested with sea creatures of all sorts and sizes. It is unmapped because any ship that has entered it thus far has been destroyed by the rapids and sea monsters that lurk there. Captains log, 6/30/10202 I dont want to go into this place for the ship shall surely be lost but I am assured that it is the fastest way to Solomon Island, so I have agreed; besides, even if we barely survive this venture, we will have be the first to sail completely through it for over two centuries. Captains log, 7/1/10202 Today we encountered a sea serpent, a nasty one too. We got to see our first display of this Trianchu and it is truly terrifying to behold. Such a powerful force, invisible to the untrained eye, as to bring down a great serpent as the one we were faced with, that power, I want it, I need it yet I cant have it, though I would not know what to do with this power once I received it. Rouin dealt with the snake quickly. Captains log, 7/8/10202 We have finally reached Solomon Island and are trying to make contact with this Kynoto. This island is uncharted; its not even on my trusty old map from my fathers father. There must be a reason no one has come to this island before but that reason has eluded me thus far. Rouin and Wantene have told me to get some of my most trusted men and bring them with us into the forest with them. End Log Is it really necessary to bring my men Rouin? Xilot muttered as he looked around at the desolate land that they had set foot on. Yes it is Captain. We might need them to help us if something should happen. They say that the forests here are alive, Rouin answered, alerter then the rest. As they approached the forest they felt a gloomy air come down around their heads, damping their spirits and chipping away their confidence. This feeling was coming from the forest and it was as if the forest itself was the cause of it. Rouin and Wantene proceeded cautiously; they did not know what dangers might have been waiting for them in the dark of the forest floor. As they entered it, Rouin took note of the green colorations of the trees and of the moss on the surrounding rocks. Wantene noticed that there were no animals to be found or heard of so far. Every once in a while a tree would creak and cause them all to jump in fright but they soon started to ignore these. The farther they went in the denser the trees got, until all they could see was tree limbs. Then there was a wind inside of this densely packed forest and Rouin swore he could hear a faint raspy voice saying, Get out. Get out! Get out!! Rouin had stopped to listen and no one had noticed, he was about to call them when he felt something grab him by the torso and lift him up. A tree had grabbed him and lifted him into the canopy. Help!! Help me!! Rouins muffled yells reached Wantenes ears and he whirled around to go find him. Where in the hell are you Rouin! he yelled and looked up as a leaf landed on his head. He saw Rouin there; his arm and neck were bent in an unnatural way. Then Wantene realized that the tree was killing Rouin. He traced the branches to the tree and unsheathed his sword. His was a Shigathian like Kynotos except his could manipulate elemental Trianchu. He took one accursed glance at the tree and said loud and clear, Fire Slash! His sword alit with flame and he swung it at the tree. It groaned as if it was in agony as it released Rouin to try to put the flames out with its branches. Before it could, Wantene muttered, Water Sword. His sword turned to water and he put the fire out with a precise slash. Deep in the center of the forest, Kynoto trained in a clearing. It was well after noon when he took his first break. He sat on the ground, covered in sweat from his brutally intense training. He had been training all night and was almost completely exhausted both physically and mentally, but the pay off had been worth the effort. Kynoto had increased his overall power by twelve percent. He was about to resume his training when he heard some thing in the bushes near him. He leaped up and grabbed his sword from the tree trunk that he had impaled it into and preceded to the bushes. He saw what it was, a bear tiger. He stood in the middle of the clearing, his sword glinting in the sunlight that flooded into it. Then Kynoto was surprised by three more bear tigers that came from behind him and from the sides of him, he was surrounded. He stared at the monsters. They looked like tigers but they had the same build as a bear. The closest one extended its claws and pounced. Kynoto slid like smoke in the wind and disposed of the animal with a quick stab to its stomach. The other three then attacked. Kynoto had a hard time now for these creatures were faster then him, but not stronger. Eventually he beat the other three off into the woods and sat back down. This work out had given him a few more scars to worry about. He looked into the sky and said to it, I know your there Triasha. He heard something fall out of a tree and hit the ground behind him. How did you know it was me? asked a very stunned Triasha. Oh well thats easy, heh. You see, the only thing that lives in this forest is trees and those bear tigers are extinct. Youre the only one who can use purple Trianchu so therefore you have had to have summoned them. What is bothering you Triasha? Kynoto asked, sensing that Triasha was not paying attention. Something has been drawing on my power, something from this forest and now I just sensed something powerful, more so then you or me. Cant you sense it Kynoto? Triasha asked Kynoto who was now concentrating. Yes I can and my God. Its more powerful then me at Shadow Angel. We need to find Rouin and Wantene; I sensed them earlier today on the island somewhere. And dont give me that surprised look, because you know you didnt kill Wantene. You just sent him to the fifth dimension, Kynoto muttered to Triasha, who gave a smirk and said, Quite right Kynoto, heheh, but I should have killed him, if nothing else for being insolent. Meanwhile, We need to find some place to hide, I sense two powers coming this way, Wantene said. Then two forms appeared in the clearing; Obsidian monsters. These are all yours little brother, Wantene told Rouin who replied, Yah, right, whenever we find some enemies you let others deal with them. Now Kynoto had control over all forms of attack and Wantene had control over elements only, but Rouin had one specific area of extreme skill; speed or red Trianchu. He lifted his sword and placed the tip on the ground and before the monsters knew it, Rouin was standing right behind them. Klosa! Rouin shouted as he began glow red. Once the attack had started the only thing they could see was the flashing of the sword as it hit the Obsidian monsters. Soon the monstrosities had been reduced to a pile of rocks and Rouin came back into view. Then Rouin looked up for some reason and saw a face that had haunted his dreams for over five thousand years. Triasha landed on the ground next to Rouin and was followed by Kynoto. Kynoto, whats going on?! Rouin asked Kynoto who began to explain everything. |
