Soil is the natural product and the nature is always complicated
Namaste!, Hello, Bonjour!(in France), Anyonghaseyo!(in Korea), Hoy!(in Brazil), Ciao(in Italy)

Dear visitors,

My name's Raju Baiju from Himalayan country, Nepal. I've completed bachelor's degree in civil engineering, from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu Nepal. Recently, I'm persuing master's degree in geotechnical engineering from Chonbuk National University, South Korea. I've been planned to receive doctoral degree in the same geotechnical engineering with numerous research. My research interests in geotechnical summarize as finite element analysis, numerical modelling in non-linearity of soil behaviour, small stress-strain behaviour of soil(specially, for the dynamic as well as seismic behaviour), slope stability (as Nepal is composed of high degree of slopy lands, more than 60% of hill slopes), bioengineering. As the Nepal is rugged terrain which I always love mixed and complicated geotechnical explorations and investigations. So I'm always intrigued by these geotechnical problems in Nepal, specially in seismic effects, (caused by earthquake and dynamic loads) slope stability, as many slopes have been failed in each year.

As yearly ,slope failures and landslides which impact the economy of the developing country, occur due to lack of well measures and well soil investigations.Soil properties are the main reasons which possess these failures. That's why we must investigate the soil properties to those affected areas. As you know the soils are the natural products and these nature products are always complicated. To get the solution of complication, might be the one's goal ever tried.
