| Classroom Computer Integration - ONLINE - 1 graduate credit hour Start anytime, 365 days a year, complete assignments at your convenience, and finish at your convenience; may overlap semesters if necessary. There are 12 mods, each taking about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes to complete. Some people work faster, some slower. Ashland University requires 13 1/2 - 15 hours of classroom time to earn 1 graduate credit. The lessons average out to this requirement. Fun and useful. Great for all educators at any level of computer skills. Surf interesting websites, turn in essays via e-mail, post an introduction to yourself on our forum (an online bulletin board - easy to do!), and learn how to build a website in Geocities, just like this one - in plain English - no computer "language," no HTML code, easy to follow instructions for busy educators. Again, there are 12 mods, these are designed to take 2 hours to 2 hours and fifteen minutes to complete. Some mods take less time, some take longer, and they average out to the Ashland requirement of 26 - 30 classroom hours to earn 2 graduate credits. Also great for educators with any level of computer skills. Learn to build a website, directions in plain English, also build a short PowerPoint presentation (easy and fun, even if you've never done PowerPoint before). We will also create an online rubric and an interactive quiz, and link these to our new website. Useful and can be as simple or as complex as you desire. There are 12 lessons each taking about 3 hours to 3 hours and 15 minutes each to complete. Great for teachers at any level of computer skills. This class will provide you with links to lessons for each of the benchmarks for Social Studies for the state of Ohio, at all grade bands, (K - 12) with over 300 linked lessons in all. You will then upload these links to a website you create. Use your teaching time wisely by not having to search for lessons for each benchmark. You will have a comprenhensive set of lessons linked online (and printed out in booklet form if you wish) for every standard and benchmark for the grade band of your choice (all lessons for all grade bands are available for you to view, but you only need to upload one grade band for the class.)
