Module 2
Quote: "You are either part of the steamroller or part of the road." Wired magazine
Overview
As you read in Module 1 in the International Standards for Technology Education, All educators are expected to integrate technology into their classrooms.  To what extent, and how quickly this needs to happen is determined by the indeicidual states and school districts.  Since you are taking this workshop, you have recognized the advantages of being computer literate and Internet savvy. However, we need to remember that everything cannot and should not be don on the computer, and to use this tool to its fullest advantage, we need to help the computer help us adapt our lessons to the learning styles of our students.  Whether they learn best audeitorally, visually or kinesthetically, the Internet can help us reach all of our students in the way best suited to their learning styles.  In this mod we will explorel the differnt styles of our students and ourselves.  We will also learn how to effectively use the computer, whether we have a one-computer classroom, a multi-computer classroom or access only to a computer lab.
