Welcome to Mod ten.

You have created your own websigte. This now enables you to join the ranks of caring teachers everywhere who are learning kkhow to hlep their students take control and responsiblilty for their own learning.  Anyone, anywhere on the planet with Internet access can type in your URL AND VIEW YOUR WEBSITE! This gives you a certain power and responsibility to use your "piece of cyberspace" wisely, as we know we all lwill.  but, we need to lpass this message along to our students as well.

You have just created something that you probably never thought you could, and now you can dazzle your peers with your amazing website!
Surfing
.When adding a new page to your website, the choice as to its contents are up to you.  For example, you can create a page for a Parent's Resource page, which could contain links valuable to parents or perhaps listing assignments for the week, or a newsletter, etc.  Or you could create an Absentee Homework page where children could check their missed assignments. And if they do not have their books at home, perhaps you could link them to a website where they could perform an alternate assignment.

(Optional) to add text to a button, try this site:

at this site, look to the left, click on sthyles 17 0 24
choose a color, click below it on white or black background
click on add text
in the white box, where it says 'button text' highlight these words and hit the delete key, and then type in what you want on your button (like: 'return to homepage'
then follow their directions (right click when your button is made and save it to your computer, it should then be there, remember where you saved it
you can then put it on your website, the same as uploading a picture
This mod is basically concerned whith building your page into a multi-page site with graphics.  the content is up to you.

Your assignment is to:
add a picture, animation or button
email me letting me know what you have added, and where you have added it
put "mod 10 - comp int- your name" into the subject line and email ot instructor
