In this mod, we wil not be doing the regular readings and surfings. There will be some things to look at, but no essays are due. We will use the Forum for the first time. It is our goal for our workshop participants to have some interaction with their colleagues during all of our workshops, and the Forum is how we will do it in this online class.
You can access the Forum by clicking on the link here, or on the Forum button on the home page of this workshop, or by typing in www.voy.com/172033/ You DO need the sladsh at the end. Check your e-mail before boign to the Forum. In the welcome to the class I have given you a password for the Forum. You will need that to get in. If you do not have it, email me. When you get into the Forum, you will type in the password and our class page will come up. You will see an introduction to Mod 7 from me. Then you can click on the reply that I posted to my own message. This is what your assignment willbe in this mod. Youj will create an introduction to yourself and post it on the Forum. After you read the reply posted to the first message, click the back arrow at the top of the page to get back to the original page of the Forum, or relink back to it from here. (Do not starta new message or a new "thread." just reply) Then, you will be takekn to a "fill in the blank" area where you will tell us a little about yourslef, just like I did in my reply.
Remember, do not post a new message, or a new "thread," just click on the link, "Reply to his message." Have fun!
Send an email to me telling me that you have completed mod 7. If you do not notify me in an email, l will not check the Forum, and no credit will be able to be given for this mod.
Type: "MOD7 comp int- your name" in the subject line.
