How to Edit a Web page

Open the lesson plan (or whatever you want to edit) on the Internet
Click the Edit button at the top of the page
In the drop-down box, click "Select All."  This will highlight all the words on the page.       This can also be done more selectively by left clicking on your mouse and dragging over the text you want to edit
Then at the Edit button, click "Copy." (Nothing will look different.)
Minimize the page you are at by left clicking on the minus sign at the upper right hand        corner of the page
Open Microsoft Word (or Works)
Click on the "New" folder at the upper left hand corner of the page
When you have a clean page, Click on the Edit button again
In the drop down box, click on "Paste."
The web page your highlighted (selected,) should be there
Try clicking on any of the words, you should be able to delete words, by left clicking           and dragging over them, then hitting "Delete."  You should also be able to type on the page.
(Then, select all, copy, and paste your edited page into the body of your e-mail for assignment for Mod 4.)
