Georgina Hall
Just about to leave the comforts of university for the big bad world, here is a selection of my work.

I have recently become a member of Stuckism.

Some criticisms of the Stuckist art movement result from a misunderstanding of what Stuckism is about - when you go to a Stuckist show, for example, you are looking at a way of living; not an attempt to create great art. The art in a Stuckist show displays to the viewer a healthy and open relationship with the canvas, not a constant striving for success. The paintings show that the artists don't have neuroses about being 'different'; they are not professional artists, they offer a more relaxed way of expressing whatever they want to express. The emphasis is not on the qulity of the art; it is saying, 'I am happy to paint whatever I want to paint'..

My work is mainly photography, although I have recently become interested in painting again after a gap of about two years - my paintings are on Saatchi's site.
