| For my first car, I bought a 87 Suzuki Samuri. Buying to learn to drive stick and somthing to just run around in, this little Zuk could go anywhere. Amazed at its offroad performance, we found that this little thing could go anywhere, just stock. After awhile the engine craped out and we bought a rebuilt engine for it. Then a rebuilt T-case. After a while I put 27 Mud terrains on it. After about 2 and half years, a frined of mine had a little zuk that he got t-boned in a parking lot and he sold it to me for 400$. What a Deal. Me and my dad then went up to rich mt. for the first time in both the Zuks, and thats all it took for him. We fell in love with them. After a couple of runs at rich mt. we went over to this other place called Anderson Creek. Then we order some Detroit lockers for the front and Calmini LSD for the rear for both the zuks. With the lockers in we took the locked up stock Zuks to Telico planes, where we ran them all over the mountain there, we went every except on the Very Very hardest trails. Haveing so much fun on thanks giving weekend at tellico, we decided to go ahead and buy Rocky roads JP eater kits. These kits put YJ sprinds under the zuk front and rear, with custom mounts and over the top steering. Now were running on 33 x 12.5 and getting 2" exstended drive shafts front and rear and 5.8:1 gears in a rebuilt t-case. |
