| Irakli Zoidze is regarded as the 2nd choice goalkeeper in the Georgian national team behind David Gvaramadze. Zoidze started his career at Dinamo Tbilisi and spent several seasons there before a brief spell in Lithuania playiing for Kaunas. He later joined Torpedo Kutaisi but once Gvaramadze was signed by Torpedo manager Revaz Dzodzuashvili Zoidze realised he had to move for first team football and he rejoined his first club Dinamo Tbilisi where he will be looking to push Gvaramadze all the way for the No 1 jersey in the Georgian National team. Zoidze has won 19 caps for the Georgian national team but was recently dropped after he conceded 4 goals iin Georgia's defeat in Hungary. |
