In front of over 12,000 fans Torpedo attacked from the off and were rewarded in first half stoppage time when Ukranian striker Andrei Poroshin scored. Dinamo came out strong in the second half but had to wait till the 89th minuite before Mikheil Bobokhikdze scored a precious equaliser. Dinamo stay 5th in the league while Torpedo's lead at the top of the table is cut to 3 points after Lokomotiv Tbilisi beat Gorda Rustavi 1-0.
