| Levan Silagadze started his career at small Georgian club Imedi Rustavi making 26 apps scoring 3 goals. He then move on to City rivals Metarlugi Rustavi playing in the Georgian top division. He only spent 2 seasons at Metarlugi before Skonto Riga's Georgian manager Revaz Dzodzuashvili signed him. Levan gained champions league experience with Skonto and was a regular in the team between 97-99. But when Dzodzuashvili left Skonto Levan's future was unclear but Dzodzuashvili had returned to Georgia to manage Lokomotiv Tbilisi and his former manager signed him again this time on loan. Levan did well at Lokomotiv but they couldn't afford the transfer fee and Levan returned to Skonto at the end of the 1999/2000 season. When Dzodzuashvili was named as Torpdeo Kutaisi coach he once again signed Levan on loan but there is little chance of him moving to Torpedo on a permanent basis as scouts from German club Freiburg had been watching him. Levan is a regular in the Georgian national side but has recently been out of the National Team since his move to Rubin Kazan. |
