Players On The Move
Levan Kobiashvili has announced that he will be leaving Freiburg at the end of the season under the bosman ruling. With his club Freiburg relegated Kobiashvili has decided that it is time to move on to a stronger club. Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are said to be interested in him with Munich the more likely destination.
Levan Kobiashvili
Interested Clubs: Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Inter Milan
Georgi Kinkladze
Interested Clubs: Manchester City, Valencia, Galatasaray
Now that Derby County have been relegated Georgi Kinkladze has announced that he wants to leave. Former club Manchester City and Spanish side Valencia were interested in him earlier this season. Turkish side Galatasaray have also joined the race to sign Kinkladze but it seems Kinkladze is a back up signing if they don't get Stefan Effenberg.
Georgi Nemsadze
Interested Clubs: Celtic, Leeds Utd, Newcastle, Notts Forest
Dundee have admitted they may be forced to sell Georgi Nemsadze is the right offer comes along. Nemsadze who has only just come back from a serious knee injury was watched by Celtic manager Martin O'Neill and scouts from Nottingham Forest and Leeds in Dundee's 2-2 draw with Hibernian. Nemsadze is under contract until 2004 but it is believed a bid of 2m will sel his signature.
Gocha Jamarauli
Interested Clubs: Dundee, Dinamo Tbilisi, Grasshoppers Zurich, Frankfurt
Gocha Jamarauli looked to be 99% certain to join Dundee but with the Scottish club's financial position and the emergance of Dinamo Tbilisi for his signature Jamarauli may not be heading to Scotland afterall. Jamarauli announced earlier this season that he wanted to leave FC Zurich after they offered him a new contract on considerably lower wages. Dundee showed the first interest in the midfielder and may see him as a replacement if they decide to sell Georgi Nemsadze.
Alexander Rekhviashvili
Interested Clubs: West Ham, Juventus
Skonto Riga's Alexander Rekhviashvili announced himself bored with life in Latvia and the Latvian domestic championship. Juventus showed a keen interest after he performed superbly for the Georgian national team in their 2-1n loss to Italy but nothing has been followed up by the Italian club. A more likely destination seems to be West Ham with their main aim to plug a leaky defence and may see Rekhviashvili as an ideal signing. It is surprising no other clubs have shown an interest in Rekhviashvili who is out of contract in the summer.
Temuri Ketsbaia
Interested Clubs: Dundee, Dinamo Tbilisi, PAOK Salonika, Anorthosis Famagusta
Temuri Ketsbaia's future is still undecided. Ketsbaia has the option to stay at Dundee but he has always said he wants to play out the last few years of his career in either Greece or Cyprus. Dinamo Tbilisi are also interested in Ketsbaia but it now seems more likely Ketsbaia will head for Greece or Cyprus in the summer.
Archil Arveladze
Interested Clubs: Rangers
FC Cologne's Archil Arveladze's future is ver unclear. Earlier in the season he was linked with a move to team up with his twin brother Shota at Rangers but unfortunatly Archil suffered a serious knee injury which has forced him to miss virtually the whole season. With his club FC Cologne now relegated from the Bundesliga expect some lcubs to start bidding for him
Mikhail Kavelashvili
Interested Clubs:  Dinamo Tbilisi, Dundee
Mikhail Kavelashvili looks likely to leave FC Zurich at the end of the season. Kavelashvili has been offered a new contract by Zurich but on much lower wages and he has rejected it. Dinamo Tbilisi is said to be interested along with Dundee who are keeping a close watch on him.
Rati Aleksidze
Interested Clubs:  Dinamo Tbilisi, German Clubs
Rati Aleksidze has hardly had a look in at Chelsea playing just 3 matches in 2 for the club since his move from Dinamo Tbilisi. Aleksidze looked likely to go on loan to Sheffield Wednesday but he couldn't get a new work permit so the deal fell through. German side FC Cologne took Aleksidze on trial but decided not to try to buy him. Dinamo Tbilisi is looking to former players to bring back past sucesses and they see Aleksidze as an ideal signing.
Zaza Janashia
Interested Clubs:  CSKA Moscow, Torpedo Moscow, Lokomotiv Tbilisi
Zaza Janashia has recently fallen out of favour at Lokomotiv Moscow and recently joined Lokomotiv Tbilisi on loan for the rest of the season. Janshia has started well at Lokomotiv Tbilisi and his contract with Lokomotiv Moscow finishes at the end of the season when he will become a free agent. German side Werder Bremen took an interest in Janashia along with Dinamo Tbilisi but nothing happened in the end.
