"Why it appears to be from ancient Japan."
"Yes Fredrick, I do believe these are from the Meji Restoration Era.." Jason said as he thourghely inspected the sword. It was a katana, a swift sword of old Japan. Just a few days ago Fredrick McGreggor and Jason Rafferty had uncovered a tomb in ancient Egypt. They went in to the tomb, eager to get in before any of their colleagues got there. It was a good thing they did, they uncovered a whole tomb. This tomb wasn't just any ordinary tomb, it had Japanese, World War II , and 20th century antiques and artifacts.
"There's a scroll inside the handle of the sword."
"What does it say?"
"Don't have a clue. Can you read Japanese?" Jason questioned Fredrick.
"Yes, hand it here. * recieves the scroll* Okay, it appears to be an old diary."...

       April 25, 1868

I have started to see spirits around our home and my dojo. It all started 4 days ago...

*flashback*

"Give up! You're wasting my time," the opponent who I am facing yelled.
"Keep quiet you bastard!" I snapped back.
"Don't get all fiesty with me," the opponent replied.
I thought to myself, "I must prove my father wrong, I can learn the way of the samurai. No matter how hard, I must try."
*clang, smith, shhhhriiip*  The right sleeve on my clothes ripped
"You.... these were my best clothes!" I yellled in a furious tone of voice.
"Look , if you want to have some nice clothes left, I suggest you quit these classes and go home," he stated unpleasently.
I guess you're wondering who the jerk is.... it's my rival Sasisho Kuma, and I'm
Kiko Miya. Well, today's the Cherry Blossom Festival. It's amazingly mesmerizing and astoundingly beautiful. Anyway, I have to first train my sword technique first.
"Shall we give it a break today?" Kuma asked.
"I suppose, I have embaressed you enough."
       "Feh."
I rushed home eager to change into my kimono. It was made up of a light pink, like the cherry blossoms. On my way home, I stumbled over a sharp gem like object. I was mesmirized by the colors, a glistening emerald green. It had writing on it but i didn't care to read it. I picked it up. I started towards home again. I could hear the crowds gathering already. I rushed home even faster. I was sure that if I was racing a kitsune, I would have beaten him by a long shot. Then...I suddenly froze!

*Kitsune*- a Japanese fox. The Japanese have made myths about different kinds of kitsune.
Kitsune is an animal supposed to be mysterious, fascinating, and mischevious. And he/she is believed to be very grateful for the kindness done to him/her, as seen in many tales, and is also affectionate as revealed in some dramas. He/she is enshrined as a god because of his/her supernatural power. He/she is endowed with the subtle art of metamorphosis, and he/she is able to bewitch men in the guise of a charming girl.
