It does involve about three miles along the beach/foreshore and this can be quite hard work. Sand, of course, is not bike-friendly and so the beach section is left until last... |
| Roslin start: Eskbank distance: 13 miles OS map: 66 A shortish route, but quite demanding in places, and full of interest as it weaves a curious line through some of the lesser-known parts of Midlothian. The 1:50000 map isn't really up to the job so actually following the route could be a bit problematic in places |
