KINGDOM NAME

PERIOD OF TIME

SCRIPTURE

1. God's Universal Kingdom (both physical & spiritual) All creation is subject to the King of Creation.

Based upon God's decree it extends from all eternity past to all eternity future. His determinate will will be done.

Isaiah 46:10; Psalms 22:28; 45:6; 103:19; 145:13; Revelation 4:11, etc.

2. God's Mediatorial Kingdom (spiritual in nature, [a.k.a. God's Theocratic Kingdom]).

From the Fall of Man to the Church Age God ruled by using patriarchs, prophets, judges, priests and kings.

Exodus 4:14-16; Deuteronomy 18:18; Judges 8:22-23; Romans 13:1-6, etc.

3. Kingdom of Satan (primarily spiritual in nature but also having physical consequences)

From his 1st rebellion against God to his being chained for a thousand years, and then from his release at the end of the thousand years to his being cast into the lake of fire. This kingdom consists of all those who knowingly or unknowingly belong to Satan whether human or demon.

Isaiah 14:12-15; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Matthew 4:8-9; Revelation 20:1-2, 7, 10; John 8:44; Matthew 25:41, etc.

4. Kingdom of God (primarily spiritual in nature this kingdom will co-exist within the future physical Kingdom of Heaven during the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ on earth)

The Kingdom of God is comprised of those who are the saved of all ages (O.T. saints, Tribulation saints and the Church), dwelling in the Millennial Kingdom (a.k.a. The Kingdom of Heaven). It will begin with the end of the 7 year Tribulation and will extend for a 1000 years to the White Throne Judgment. God rules through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, His Bride the Church at His side.

5. Kingdom of Heaven (a future physical kingdom [a.k.a. The Davidic Kingdom restored]) Satan will be chained. Christ will rule with a rod of iron. No open sin will be condoned.

The Millennial Kingdom of Christ's literal 1000 year rule on the earth begins at the end of the seven year Tribulation. This kingdom contains the O.T. saints, Tribulation saints and true Church (a.k.a. The Kingdom of God) along with those unsaved who will be born during the Millennium. God rules through His Son, Jesus Christ, His Bride at His side.

Revelation 19:7-9; 20:6; Matthew 7:21; 8:11; 13:24-25, 31-33, 37-50; 18:3-4; 22:2-13; 25:1-30; John 14:3b; 1 Thessalonians 4:17b; Revelation 12:5, etc.

6. The Mystery Form of the Kingdom an extension of God's Mediatorial Kingdom (both a physical & spiritual kingdom)

This Kingdom consists of all Christendom. It exists during the Church Age. Like the Kingdom of Heaven it contains both wheat & tares, good fish and bad. God rules using His written Word and Holy Spirit indwelled believers.
