| Band-tailed pigeons at the elevated platform feeder. We have had up to 10-12 birds vying for a spot on this feeder. These native forest pigeons are larger than domestic pigeons and are quite shy and beautiful. We have had flocks of up to 20 or so birds in the front yard - they feed on acorns in the fall. |
