| The Jesus fish on people's cars finally explained. | ||||||
| While driving behind a car (I think it was some kind of mini-van). They were driving like shit by the way. I came to beleive that I understand the Jesus fish. Forget about the parable of the bread and fishes at seashore. What the Jesus fish actually represents is something more significant and actually something deeper than that impossible parable. The Jesus fish actually represents FISH. Actual fish. The gospel actually represents the waters the fish live in. So every time man dumps pollution into the waters that the fish lives in, the fish gets sick and dies. You can look at the gospel of Jesus as the waters and the fish as Jesus. Everytime man puts his imperfect mental spin on the gospel it gets poluted just like water. The one who suffers is Jesus. Jesus was a great philosopher. His teachings are timeless and show us that we should live in peace with one another and enjoy life and be free to wander the country in which we live. However, the churches tell us that we should be structured and burden ourselves with obligations. If we are supposed to live by his example, then we are not supposed to put down roots anywhere. Just like a fish. Fish are migratory. What they live in is water. Jesus wandered and what he lived in was the gospel. Now when men interpert the gospel they just mess it up and try to make it into what they want it to be and it gets polluted. So, what any religious person needs to do is read their bible themselves and accept it word for word if they want to know what it really means. Don't beleive what the pastors, preists, and scholars interperet from the bible. Form your own opinion but, form it from facts. Form it from what the bible says. God wouldn't lead you astray. So, when you read the bible it means exactly what it says. There is no hidden meaning. God wouldn't hide his will or his words from you. The bible says "God is not the author of confusion." So the Bible being the word of God, should not lead you astray. |
