The volcano

    A volcano.
Plate movements may also create cracks in the crust.
Molten magma below the plates forces its way up through the
cracks  When the magma rushes out violently, an explosive
volcano eruption occurs After a series of eruption, a mountain if
built up. This is called a volcano.
Volcanoes are cone-shaped and have a broad base. At the top of a volcano, there is a creater.
Sometimes, magma just runs out through the cracks and reaches the surface as lava flow. The flow usually covers
a large area.
