Introduction We will be looking at the existence of RTP and the surrounding triangle area through four distinct lenses. We plan to fully explore the issues of transportation, commercial and residential sprawl, and territoriality. All of these issues are interconnected and will provide an understanding of the local geography we find ourselves in today. The various sections of this assignment address different aspects of a common issue: the development of RTP. However, each group member will include common perspectives in his research. Thus, the four subjects pursued will be illuminated through common lenses, making comprehension and analysis easier for the audience. Each subject will be considered with respect to environmental, economic, and social issues arising. The group plans to present its research findings in a website (www.geocities.com/geog153), the simple structure of which will tie each theme to a central homepage including a general introduction to the subject matter.
