Public Domain, or "Fair Use" Materials for Educators |

| These are links to online archives of public domain and "fair use" files. This is not a complete list. This is just to give you an idea of what kinds of materials are available. Some of these sites contain public domain materials and some of them contain material that is available free to educators. Publicly-funded agencies and non-profits are required to make materials available for educational use. Fair use of copyrighted material includes the use of protected materials for non-commercial educational purposes, such as teaching, scholarship, research, criticism, commentary, and news reporting. Typically, unless otherwise noted, users who wish to download or print text and image files for such uses may do so without permission, provided that they comply with the following conditions:
