I had never actually stopped in Cambridge itself, so i took a detour, and travelled home a different route, as Cambridge is only about 15 miles from Ely.
It would have been a great shame to miss all the architecture and scenery that i saw there, it's not too easy to park a car around the city of Cambridge, but it is certainly worth the effort if you can find a place to park the car, Just watch out for the cycles !! as there are more cycles there than any other vehicles.
