Q: Who are you and what are you doing here? |
A: I am looking to find more opportunities to expand my photography portfolio
and gain more experience. In my gallery, I will display some of the work I have done,
but unfortunately there's not much as of yet and even less of the photos I WANT to take. I'm really looking to experiment, especially with portraits and candid photos, as well as wildlife photography. |
Q: So, what kind of photography do you do? |
A: Since I'm still relatively new to this, I'm looking to try out anything. I'm really interested in photography as an artform and I'm particularly interested in taking photos of people and animals, but I can only take so many pictures of my girlfriend and my dog. I just want to take GOOD pictures of anything that will hold still long enough, or at least move slow... |
Q: What sort of equipment do you have? |
A: Film: Canon A-1 manual focus 35mm with lenses from 28-750mm focal length ("Old school", but I'd rather shoot with it than the digital any day - too bad film/processing cost money) Digital: Konica/Minolta A2 8MP digital I have no lighting equipment aside from shoe-mount type strobes, but I have the ability to add an external flash to the A2 on a bracket and avoid using the inferior flip-up flash. I have no portrait studio or darkroom in my garage :P... but I would like to have some portable hot lights and backdrops eventually... |
Q: So what do you want from me? |
A: I want new and exciting people and things to photograph. I want to challenge my skills and my equipment and most of all, my creativity, but I am new in town, and know very few people and places here. I would like to find some models, collaborators, and events to help me acheive the things I want to do. |
